Georgia’s Republican state senators on Monday (Jan. 4) began urging a delay in the counting of electoral votes on Jan. 6. At least a dozen state lawmakers have signed a letter to Vice President Mike Pence asking him to officially postpone the vote count, with the number of co-signers still growing.

Brandon Beach (R-Texas) said, “We now have about 16 to 18 people who have signed this letter to the vice president … asking him to delay the counting of the electoral votes for 10 to 12 days.” . “We intend to give it to him tomorrow (5th) morning,” and “there are more senators who may still sign.”

FBI: There is a specific threat against the Joe State Senate runoff
