China and Europe reached an investment agreement Wang Dan: Biden United European system in the route “deserved to be hit in the face”

The EU and China recently completed negotiations on the EU-China Comprehensive Agreement on Investment (CAI) in a surprise move, which Chinese democracy activist Wang Dan believes represents a “deserved slap in the face” for Biden’s European and Chinese line.

The recent completion of negotiations between Europe and China on a “comprehensive investment agreement” has sparked discussions, and White House Deputy National Security Advisor Matt Pottinger has been outspoken in criticizing the EU for compromising on human rights principles with China for the sake of economic interests.

Chinese pro-democracy activist Wang Dan said on Facebook that the EU’s move “shows how desperate it is for food and drink, knowing that the other side will not keep its promises.

According to Wang Dan, the finalization of the agreement represents a slap in the face to Biden’s line of uniting Europe and China, “because it was wishful thinking. Unless the U.S. is also spreading money, and then a Marshall Plan, why should the EU countries, which only want money, coordinate with the U.S.”.

Wang Dan pointed out that the current U.S. President Donald Trump is right to advocate the “U.S. acting alone”, and pulling in the EU “can only pull the leg”, he stressed that in the face of the Chinese Communist Party, the most important thing for Western society is not solidarity, but “a strong leader”.
