Nanjing Municipal Commission of Political and Legal control of the former first class police commander Cheng LAN was missing

On December 16, Ms. Cheng LAN, director of The Drum Tower branch of Nanjing Public Security Bureau and the first police supervisor (retired), went to get the judgment in the afternoon of December 17 according to the notice of suojin Village Court of Xuanwu District Court of Nanjing, but there was no news from her.

According to Minghui, Cheng LAN, 68, who lives alone, suffered a series of persecution under the control of Nanjing Municipal Political and Legal Commission and 610, an illegal organization specializing in the persecution of Falun Gong. On August 29, 2019, she was followed, kidnapped and illegally confiscated her home by plainclothes police officers from Qixia Public Security Bureau. She was then illegally detained in a brainwashing class for 22 days. On 20 September, he was illegally transferred to criminal detention.

On May 8, 2020, Cheng LAN was illegally incorporated into the Xuanwu District Procuratorate of Nanjing by Qixia Branch of Nanjing Municipal Public Security Bureau. On May 25, he was illegally prosecuted by The Xuanwu District Procuratorate of Nanjing to the Xuanwu District Court (he was released on bail pending trial).

On June 20, Cheng LAN brought charges against Chen Lifang (female), the procurator of Xuanwu District Procuratorate of Nanjing, and Liu Songmao, the assistant procurator, to The Nanjing Procuratorate, and investigated the public prosecutor for suspected criminal responsibility. Soon after, she was notified by the nanjing Municipal procuratorate, and her complaint materials have been transferred to the Nanjing Xuanwu District Procuratorate for examination and processing. Since then, Cheng LAN has not heard anything about it.

Cheng LAN was illegally tried by the Xuanwu District Court of Nanjing on August 12. She pleaded not guilty against the prosecutor’s indictment one by one.

The prosecutor accused her of “using religious organizations to undermine the implementation of the law.” She retorted: “I did not undermine the implementation of the law, in fact, I am a private citizen has no power and ability to undermine the implementation of the law; It was Jiang Zemin and his followers who really broke the law. It was unconstitutional and illegal for jiang’s followers to persecutors of the Falun Gong…”

She asked the prosecutor what law she had broken by sending the Falun Gong truth pamphlet. Her actions had no criminal consequences, no victims and no social harm.

The public prosecutor has been speechless, the court did not pronounce on that day.

In mid-October, when Cheng LAN was on bail pending trial, she found that there was no pension for September and October in her bank card, and only a part of the housing subsidy was issued. She went to the Nanjing Social Security Center for inquiries, was told that her former unit (The Drum Tower public security bureau) to stop the payment of its wages. So she wrote a long letter to the head of the unit, asking to have her pension refunded.

The original unit ignored her letter, but directly deducted her pension. She called the relevant officials and was told that she had made the unit look like this (referring to her exposure of her suffering) and that her case involved the Nanjing Public Security Bureau, superiors and so on.

Subsequently, Cheng LAN wrote to the Nanjing Public Security Bureau, political and legal commission and other leaders to reflect the situation. In mid-November, the Nanjing Public Security Bureau replied that her letter had been transferred to her former unit for processing.

On December 16, Cheng LAN received a call from suojincun Court of Xuanwu District Court in Nanjing and was told to get the verdict in the afternoon of December 17. Her whereabouts were unknown.
