Japan’s new “Alpha-X” bullet train undergoing tests

The Shinkansen “ALFA-X” (Alpha-X) is being tested by the East Japan Railway Company (JR East) in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan.

The Shinkansen is said to have a maximum speed of 360 kilometers per hour and is characterized by a long front end, known as the “long nose,” which is designed to suppress noise.
