South Korean President Moon Jae-in’s poll hits record low, slips to 34.1%

Yonhap News Agency reported that South Korean pollster Realmeter released its latest poll on March 3, which showed that President Moon Jae-in’s approval rating for his administration slipped to 34.1%, a new low. At the same time, Moon’s disapproval rating exceeded 60% for the first time, a new high.

Realmeter surveyed 1,000 people over 18 years old on the 1st and 2nd. The results showed that respondents’ approval rating of Moon Jae-in was 34.1% and disapproval rating was 61.7%. As for the support of political parties, the largest opposition party, the National Power Party, is 34.2%, while the ruling party, the Common Democratic Party, is 28.7%, with a difference of 5.5 percentage points between the two.
