Since 1890, an annual Rose Parade has been held in Pasadena, California, on January 1, attracting over a million people. The parade has only been suspended three times since its inception during World War II, and the 132nd Rose Parade, which was supposed to take place this year, was suspended for the fourth time in its history.

However, Californians do not want the traditional parade to be “discontinued”. So at 1 p.m. that day, hundreds of cars were decorated with American flags, “Trump 2020,” “Stop the Steal,” and “Trump, we support you! ” The vehicles with flags, such as “Trump 2020”, “Stop the Steal”, “Trump, we support you!”, etc., weaved through the downtown area along the road of the Rose Parade, with so many vehicles that it was impossible to see.

On January 1, 2021, hundreds of people marched in Pasadena in a unique Rose Parade, the Patriots for Trump Parade, to showcase public opinion.

Many of the participants drove from San Diego, Orange County and other cities to attend the parade. Many people said that the march showed the public opinion and supported President Trump while defending the Constitution, freedom and democracy of the United States.

Holly, a Huntington Beach voter, said, “It was really the best New Year’s gift to be with so many good people with traditional ideas, waving flags, singing the ‘God Bless America’ song and supporting Trump. In the new year, we continue to support Trump and continue to fight for him.”

Christina, who lives in Newport Beach, met up with a number of friends to attend the parade that day. She said, “Thank you so much for organizing this march. Yes, we were the Patriots’ Rose Parade float. I had the most perfect Jan. 1 and had so much fun. We will continue to deliver the facts of ‘Stop stealing the election, Trump won the election, Biden cheated’.”

Chinese people attend the march to speak their minds

Mr. Liu, who has been attending the Rose Parade for 2 consecutive years, originally felt sorry for the cancellation of this year’s parade, but when he heard that a pro-Trump parade would be held as scheduled, he didn’t hesitate to put up a large flag in support of President Trump and the American flag all over his body to participate in the parade.

He said, “I got there early and saw pro-Trump flags and American flags everywhere. There were also people decorating their cars with real roses for the occasion. We marched down Colorado Blvd. until about 4 p.m.”

“There was an extraordinary amount of support on the side of the road, people cheering, people giving thumbs up, people waving Trump flags, singing and dancing, and the whole atmosphere was exceptional. I drove for miles and miles and miles and miles of Trump-supporting cars, and all across the road, and this time people were shouting ‘Fight for Trump’ (Fight for Trump).” He said excitedly.

What touched him the most was that the atmosphere was very good and orderly throughout the march. Everyone was especially friendly, and everyone even greeted each other for the New Year. He said that this kind of pure and simple mode of people getting along with each other is the way it should be.

He said, “If we look at this election in the United States, we can see that the world is getting worse and better, and the cheating is disgraceful, but many people have acquiesced to this evil. This is a critical time to distinguish between good and evil, and for each person to choose their future.”
