Sidney Powell, a well-known American lawyer and former federal prosecutor.
Former U.S. federal prosecutor and prominent attorney Sidney Powell said recently that she is sure that even after January 6, President Trump (Trump) is “absolutely likely” to be re-elected. At present, dozens of members of Congress have announced that they will challenge the Electoral College votes on January 6. President Trump has also announced that he will release extensive evidence of election fraud on the 6th.
On Dec. 29, 2020, FlashPoint host Bailey asked attorney Powell if the Jan. 6 joint session of Congress or the Jan. 20 presidential inauguration was “the end of the road for Trump’s re-election bid. “Is there more evidence that will come to light? Is Trump likely to be re-elected?”
Powell replied: “(Trump’s re-election) is absolutely possible. The Supreme Court can do it if it wants to.”
However, she confessed that the longer it drags on, the more difficult it will be for Trump to be re-elected.
Powell did not elaborate further on the judicial process in question. To date, the U.S. Supreme Court has dismissed two Trump team lawsuits challenging the election results, and federal and state courts have dismissed more than a dozen Trump team-related lawsuits.
Attorney Powell is also representing the American people on the legal front to challenge election fraud. She said, “There are multiple (election fraud) lawsuits pending in the federal Supreme Court right now. We filed an emergency order with the Supreme Court against massive election fraud in four swing states (Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin and Georgia), asking the court to cancel the election results in those four states that certified Biden as president-elect.”
She wants viewers to review the appeal documents and related evidence in the aforementioned cases, which document allegations of fraud in the 2020 presidential election.
In the complaint against Arizona, the central allegation is that “the 2020 presidential election was marked by the largest scale of unprecedented election fraud in the history of the United States in violation of the Constitution. Biden’s votes included hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of illegal votes, fraudulent votes, ineligible votes or outright fraudulent votes. And hundreds of thousands of Trump’s votes were deliberately destroyed, lost, or changed in Biden’s name. This massive fraud changed the outcome of the 2020 election from a Biden defeat to a Biden ‘win.'”
However, U.S. state election officials, the Justice Department and others, have taken a delaying attitude in the face of such massive fraud.
The Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) even claimed that the Nov. 3 election was “the most secure election in U.S. history.
However, Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe confirmed to the media in early December that there was foreign interference in the 2020 U.S. election, including by the Chinese Communist Party, Iran and Russia.
The Jan. 6 joint session of Congress is an important opportunity to challenge the election results, and on Jan. 2, 11 Republican senators issued a joint statement that they will challenge the Electoral College vote at the Jan. 6 joint session of Congress and ask Congress to immediately establish an election commission to conduct an emergency 10-day audit of the disputed swing state ballots.
If the challenge is successful, the Electoral College votes in the challenged states will be voided and a snap election may be held under the Twelfth Amendment if neither presidential candidate receives 270 Electoral College votes.
President Trump has announced that he will make public a large amount of evidence of election fraud on January 6, and called on the American people to attend the “Stop Election Theft” event in Washington DC that day.
In a tweet, Trump told his supporters, “Be sure to come, don’t miss it!” According to outside analysis, President Trump may make some big moves that day.
