Both Europe, the United States and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) are “racing” to launch vaccines against the CCP virus, but their effectiveness and safety are in question. According to U.S. epidemic prevention authority Anthony Fauci in late October, the early vaccines only prevented symptoms in infected individuals, not infection.
Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, told Yahoo Finance’s online “All Markets Summit” (video link) on Oct. 26 that while the ultimate goal of a vaccine is to eradicate the virus, developers are focusing on a simpler goal in the first round of efforts.
The main thing to do now, he said, is to prevent people from getting sick if they get infected, and then eventually stop them from getting seriously ill.
Fauci also said, “If the vaccine also allows you to prevent the initial infection, that’s great. (But) what I and all my colleagues want to address is the primary goal of preventing clinically identifiable disease.”
Fauci has said that the vaccine developed by Pfizer and BioNTech is likely to be available by the end of the year. His expectation for such a vaccine is 50 to 60 percent effectiveness.
The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is currently in use, but its efficacy and safety have raised questions in public opinion. on December 22, Fauci live-streamed a video of his left arm being vaccinated, but the following day he was interviewed while filming his right arm crying out in pain, sparking suspicion among netizens.

On January 1, the conservative American media outlet “Gateway Pundit” reported Fauci’s comments in October about the effectiveness of vaccines and questioned whether the “early vaccine”, which does not prevent infection, was a real vaccine. The next day, the Gateway Pundit said they tweeted the story, and their account was blocked by Twitter for 12 hours.
