Stay alert! Chengdu confirmed 2 new cases yesterday, 5 asymptomatic infections

On October 29, two new cases of new coronary pneumonia imported from abroad were diagnosed in Chengdu. There were five new asymptomatic infected persons imported from abroad, and one asymptomatic infected person imported from abroad was released from centralized medical observation.

By 24:00 on October 29, a total of 342 confirmed cases had been reported in Chengdu (including 197 cases imported from abroad), with 311 people discharged from hospitals and three deaths, and the remaining 28 confirmed cases imported from abroad were being treated in isolation at designated hospitals. There are 77 cases of asymptomatic infected persons imported from abroad in the city who are under centralized medical observation. There are 1,065 close contacts who are under intensive isolation medical observation.

Two new confirmed cases were imported from outside the city.

Patient 1: Male, 33 years old, Chinese nationality. He departed from the Philippines and arrived in Rong via Cambodia on flight KR961 on 28 October. On October 29, due to sore throat, cough, positive nucleic acid test for new coronavirus and abnormal results of chest CT scan, the patient was diagnosed as a confirmed case and transferred to a designated hospital for isolation treatment.

Patient 2: Male, 47 years old, Chinese nationality. He took flight 3U8392 from Saudi Arabia to Rong via Egypt on October 17. On October 29, due to positive nucleic acid test for new coronavirus and abnormal results of chest CT scan, the patient was diagnosed as a confirmed case and was transferred to the designated hospital for isolation treatment.

Five new asymptomatic cases were imported from abroad.

Asymptomatic infected person 1: Male, 29 years old, Chinese nationality. He arrived in Rong on October 28 on flight KR961 from the Philippines via Cambodia. On October 29, he was diagnosed as an asymptomatic infected person due to positive nucleic acid test for new coronavirus and was transferred to a designated hospital for isolation treatment.

Asymptomatic infected person 2: male, 20 years old, Chinese nationality. He arrived in Rong on October 28th on flight KR961 from the Philippines via Cambodia. On October 29, he was diagnosed with asymptomatic infection due to a positive nucleic acid test of the new coronavirus, and was transferred to a designated hospital for isolation treatment.

Asymptomatic infected person 3: male, 23 years old, Chinese nationality. He arrived in Rong on October 28th on flight KR961 from the Philippines via Cambodia. On October 29, he was diagnosed with asymptomatic infection due to a positive nucleic acid test of the new coronavirus, and was transferred to a designated hospital for isolation treatment.

Asymptomatic infected person 4: male, 32 years old, Chinese nationality. He arrived in Rong on October 28th on flight KR961 from the Philippines via Cambodia. On October 29, he was diagnosed as an asymptomatic infected person due to positive nucleic acid test of new coronavirus, and was transferred to a designated hospital for isolation treatment.

Asymptomatic infected person 5: female, 25 years old, Chinese nationality. She arrived in Rong on October 28th on flight KR961 from the Philippines via Cambodia. On October 29, she was diagnosed with asymptomatic infection due to positive nucleic acid test for new coronavirus, and was transferred to a designated hospital for isolation treatment.

The above-mentioned confirmed patients and asymptomatic infected persons were living in quarantine in a disinfected environment, and all close contacts were kept in quarantine for observation, and their nucleic acid tests were negative.
