Several Chinese media reported that on the afternoon of Dec. 28, local time, a large number of auto parts and raw materials were found to be positive after a virus test at the Mercedes-Benz import workshop in Shunyi District, Beijing. The mainland media claimed that the parts and raw materials did not flow out, and that all staff members who came into contact with the parts and raw materials had been tested for nucleic acid, and that the Shunyi District Mercedes-Benz 4S store had been “fully disinfected”.

The epidemic continues to rise in Beijing, Shenyang, Wuxi, Hangzhou and Heihe
On December 29, Beijing notified seven new confirmed local cases and declared the capital’s epidemic prevention and control to be in emergency status. Shenyang, Liaoning Province, added 6 new confirmed cases.
