Those who are looking forward to the iPad Pro5 don’t have to wait long. The latest report from Digitimes says that Apple is placing orders for components, of which GIS (Yecheng) got the order for the touch module of iPad Pro5, and the new tablet will be seen in the first quarter of next year.
Previously, GIS invested about 500 million yuan and 330 million yuan in Chengdu, Sichuan Province in August and November this year respectively to expand the production capacity of touch modules for tablet PCs, and then invested about 175 million yuan to improve the automation capacity of production lines to better provide corresponding components for MacBook, iPad, etc.
For some time now, there have been rumors that Apple is preparing a 12.9-inch ipad Pro with a Mini-LED display, which would offer better qualities than the current iPad display, including darker blacks, more brighter brightness, richer colors and better contrast.
Previously, renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo noted that the mini-led iPad Pro will be launched in the first half of 2021.
We have reason to believe that the iPad Pro5 will be equipped with at least an A14 or higher level processor, and the cellular version will also support 5G networks, etc.
