Pierre Cardin, the famous French fashion designer, died today at the age of 98, his family told AFP.
Pierre Cardin was born in Italy in 1922, but moved to France as a child. Pierre Cardin was praised for his creative vision and for making fashion wearable for the masses.
Family members said Pierre Cardin died in a hospital in Neuilly, Paris.
