On Wednesday, President Trump tweeted an important message, saying, “After seeing massive voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election, I can’t agree with anyone who doesn’t think a strong, fast and fair special prosecutor is needed. Immediately. This is the most corrupt election in our nation’s history and it must be scrutinized!”
On Wednesday, Attorney General Barr left the Justice Department and was replaced by a new Attorney General.
On Tuesday, just one day before Barr’s departure, President Trump issued an order authorizing the attorney general to provide classified information to the grand jury investigating the Russia scam, an apparent order to the new attorney general. It can be said that for two days in a row, President Trump has clearly expressed his determination to investigate election fraud in the 2020 U.S. presidential election to the end.
Whether the new Attorney General will appoint a special prosecutor as requested by President Trump, or who will be appointed to do this special prosecutor, has become the focus of attention.
