Old store on the verge of going under, former host says Fox News losing 40% of viewers, station ‘very, very nervous’ ……

Former Fox News host Eric Bolling said Fox News ratings are down 40 percent and people at the station are nervous, but they don’t know how to turn things around, gatewaypundit.com reported Dec. 22, citing the Mediaite website the day before.

The Mediaite website, which focuses on politics and media news, was created by Dan Abrams, chief legal correspondent for ABC News.

Mr. Bolin, a former Fox News host, now hosts Sinclair TV. According to a report on the Middle End website, Mr. Bolin attended Turning Point USA’s annual Student Action Summit on Monday (Dec. 21). At the event, student activist Andrew Escude asked Mr. Bolin a rather ironic question: “Why do Tucker Carlson, Jesse Watters, Brian Kilmeade Kilmeade, Sean Hannity, these hosts don’t leave Fox News and join right-wing outlets like Newsmax or the same OANN?”

Mr. Bolling first mentioned that he had recently had a conversation with Hannity. He then explained that unlike the Newsmax hosts, the Fox News hosts are influential, have a huge audience and the hosts make a lot of money.

According to the mid-range website, Mr. Bolin told the attendees that right-wing media outlets such as Newsmax and the same U.S. news network are on the rise, especially after Fox News first acknowledged Biden’s victory in Arizona by calling Joe Biden president, and that ratings for these two emerging right-wing outlets soared after the 2020 election. Bolin also revealed that some Fox News hosts are concerned that these conservative media rivals, will cost Fox News viewers.

Mr. Bolin told the young conservative attendees, “Let’s be honest, this is what’s happening right now. When the Fox News station announced that Biden had won in Arizona, it’s safe to say the whole world was outraged. Viewers said, I’m not watching Fox News! They changed the station, and then they found the News Extreme station. And just like that, Fox News lost about 40 percent of its viewers after the election. 40 percent!” That statement drew a round of applause from the young conservative listeners.

Bolin also told these young people, “I have many other friends who say that they feel very, very nervous in the face of this situation, and they can only look at the current situation and not know how they can turn it around.”

In an effort to figure out the severity of Fox News’ betrayal of conservatives, The Gateway Pundit, in a Nov. 30 article, compared Fox News’ ratings in August and Nov. 23, 2020, and came up with the result that Fox lost about 50 percent of its viewers to the Trump faithful, costing Fox News’ wallets dearly!

The Gateway Pundit lists the specific numbers of Fox News stations that lost viewership.

Neil Cavuto’s show, which attracted 2.192 million views this August, had dropped to 1.3 million views by November.

Talk show The Fifth Man (The Five) also suffered big losses, with views dropping from 3.772 million in August to 2.883 million in November, a loss of 889,000 views.

Bret Baier’s show, which lost nearly 1.139 million views, went from 3.256 million in August to 2.117 million views in November.

Martha MacCallum fared even worse, losing 50 percent of her views and dropping from 3.211 million to 1.163 million views.

Tucker Carlson also lost a lot of views, dropping 2.275 million from 5.719 million in August to 3.444 million in November.

Sean Hannity, a shining star, also burned himself out, with his viewership dropping from 6.838 million to 2.839 million, nearly 4 million people leaving his show.

Laura Ingraham also lost 2.706 million views, dropping from 4.82 million to 2.114 million.

The Gateway Pundit believes that this series of numbers suggests that Fox News stations are committing suicide.

The Gateway Pundit says that while Cable News Network (CNN) and Microsoft National Broadcasting Company (MSNBC) did improve their ratings, the ratings rankings of the top three cable news stations in the U.S., with the exception of isolated examples, remained largely unchanged. In August 2020, the most-watched time was 9 p.m., with Fox News host Hannity drawing the most viewers, and the three major news stations combined drew 10,794,000 viewers. By November, the viewing figures for the three major news stations combined, dropped to 8.556 million, with cable news networks and Microsoft NBC essentially the same number of viewers as in August, yet Fox News’ viewing figures were much lower than in August.

The Gateway Pundit also reminds people to look at the issue in a larger context. What most people probably don’t know is that conservative radio stations are listened to on the air millions more times than cable news stations are watched. Rush Limbaugh’s broadcasts, for example, attract at least 20 million listeners a day. If you add up all conservative radio programs, the total number of listens is at least five times greater than the number of views on cable news networks.

The final key point that The Gateway Pundit makes is that don’t pay attention to mainstream cable news programs, those are pure propaganda. Listen to the conservative radio broadcasts! Support the same conservative news networks as News America, News Extreme and Blaze TV. The important thing to know is that you are not alone!
