The report on the assessment of foreign government interference in the U.S. election is difficult to produce. Recently, senior U.S. intelligence officials said that the “politicization” of intelligence is undermining U.S. democracy.

Former U.S. Official: The Politicization of Intelligence is Undermining American Democracy
Former officials of the U.S. government and the U.S. intelligence system (IC) recently said that the current “politicization” of intelligence in assessing foreign government interference in U.S. elections and in evaluating allegations of election fraud is undermining U.S. democracy and will have long-term negative consequences.
Bart Marcois served in the Bush administration as deputy assistant secretary for energy for policy and international affairs. He said, “I think [the intelligence officials’ excuses for not being able to submit the report by Dec. 18] are lies and the work of bureaucrats within the intelligence system.”
Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe was notified by “career intelligence officials” on Dec. 16 that the Intelligence Community (IC) was unable to report on foreign government interference in the U.S. election by the Dec. 18 deadline of the president’s executive order. The officials explained that the IC had continued to receive new intelligence since the election and that many agencies had not completed their coordination efforts.
“I’ve never known the IC to say, ‘We don’t have enough information to answer your question,'” Markos said. They could say ‘We don’t have enough information, but this report is based on the information we have.'” The only conclusion is this – the IC intentionally blocked the assessment report against foreign government interference in the U.S. election for political reasons.
He said, “They deliberately slowed it down and intentionally delayed it in order to prevent (the Trump team) from using this report as a basis to appeal to the Supreme Court or to move to state legislatures and Congress to nullify the Electoral College vote results.”
Markos added, “The main problem is the irony that bureaucrats who have been in government for a long time have disregarded President Trump’s (Trump’s) authority over the past four years while Biden has been responsive to the Chinese Communist Party.”
Also according to Gary Berntsen, a former CIA official, there were many experts who warned in 2016 of foreign interference in the U.S. election, among other election fraud.
It’s a national disgrace and very, very unfortunate,” Berntsen said. It’s doubly sad that this is happening in the United States, and we are facing serious internal divisions.”
Berntsen was awarded the Distinguished Intelligence Medal and the Intelligence Star. He is known for his outstanding counterterrorism performance, having led CIA officers in the Afghan occupation of the capital Kabul and in the Battle of Tora Bora.
There is still a lot of controversy and lawsuits pending in the 2020 election,” said Berntsen. (The Trump team) has witnesses, sources, and now we’re seeing the first report on the technical aspects (of the voting machines). Only a stupid person would deny these allegations.”
Bannon: Trump has the greatest ally of all – the Chinese public
In an interview with Epoch Times’ Cross Road program, Steve Bannon, President Trump’s former White House strategist, said the current Trump camp resistance may be the most important one, arguing, “President Trump will win in the end because the Trump camp has the greatest ally — the ordinary Chinese.”

Bannon said the current election battle is about the United States and China, and as such has attracted widespread global attention.
He spoke of the global threat posed by the Chinese Communist Party. The CCP is concerned only with the power in its hands, and the CCP is least concerned with the rights of the Chinese people. But the Chinese people are our greatest allies.”

Bannon explains, “Because democracy, freedom and prosperity currently exist only in the West, the Chinese Communist Party does not allow the Chinese people to have these rights or allow areas like Hong Kong and Taiwan, where freedom and the rule of law exist, to prosper, so these Chinese people are forced to leave China for the West. These ordinary working-class mainlanders (Chinese) are our greatest allies.”

Bannon also said that the theme of the first half of the 21st century will be “the Chinese people winning their freedom and finally establishing a regime of freedom, rule of law, and prosperity, and our responsibility is only to assist them.
Bannon concluded, “One hundred years from now, the greatest performance of President Trump’s first term that will be remembered will be that he was the first American leader to directly confront the Chinese Communist Party.”
