“Important meeting today with President Trump, the Vice President, the President’s legal team, the Freedom Caucus (House Freedom Caucus), and other members of Congress , and I will lead the opposition to Georgia’s Electoral College on January 6.
The courts have refused to hear the President’s legal case.
We need to make sure the people can do it!”
On the same day, Republican Congresswoman-elect Madison Cawthorn announced that she would challenge the Electoral College votes.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-CA) announced that he will challenge the Electoral College vote when the votes are counted in a joint session of Congress on January 6.
Rep. Gaetz made the commitment during a speech at Turning Point USA’s Student Action Summit.
“So on Jan. 6, I’m going to join the fighters in Congress as we stand against the electors in states that don’t have clean elections.” Gates said.
Rep. Mo Brooks also previously announced he would oppose the Electoral College vote. Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville is also said to be joining the effort.
“Now it’s time to fight,” Gates said.
