On December 19, 2020, President Trump announced the 1776 Commission, which will focus on promoting patriotic education and educating schoolchildren about the history and principles of the United States in the fight against the New York Times Magazine’s Project 1619.
The 18-member 1776 Commission is chaired by Hillsdale College President Larry Arnn, with retired Vanderbilt University professor Carol M. Swain as vice president. The committee also includes Charlie Kirk, founder of the nonprofit Turning Point USA, and Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant, and is chaired by Carol M. Swain, a retired professor at Vanderbilt University. The executive director is Matthew Spalding, vice president and director of education programs at Hillsdale College.
The White House issued a statement saying, “As our nation enters the 250th anniversary of our glorious independence, many of America’s schoolchildren are tragically being taught to hate our founding, hate our history and hate America, and this must stop.” In a statement, Spaulding said, “The 1776 Commission was established to provide the president with information about the core principles of America’s founding, to promote patriotic education to protect those principles, and to build a path to a renewed, confident national unity.”
President Trump established the 1776 Commission to “educate the next generation about the history and principles that led to the founding of the United States in 1776 and to work toward a more perfect union” and to counter the 1619 Project, launched last year by The New York Times Magazine, which argues that American history began with the arrival of the first African slaves in the North American colonies in 1619 and that black Americans have always struggled to achieve the founding ideals of America – freedom and equality.
“The 1619 Project also argues that the American War of Independence was not fought to gain independence from England, but to preserve slavery. Its advocacy has been rejected by historians as a falsification of American history. Some U.S. states have decided to incorporate the program into school curricula. U.S. Senator Tom Cotton has called the 1619 Project a “racially divisive, revisionist historical account that denies the noble principles of freedom and equality on which our nation was founded.
“If you want to destroy your country, you must first destroy its history. “The 1619 Project’s intention to falsify U.S. history is sinister and should not be taken lightly. The Chinese Communist Party’s falsification of the history of the Cultural Revolution and its fallacy that “love of country is equal to love of party” is a cause for deep alarm among Americans.
The Chinese Communist Party has always distorted history and textbooks in order to completely change human nature and control the minds of the people. The Cultural Revolution, for example, is known as the “Ten-Year Catastrophe” and was an unprecedented disaster for the Chinese nation. In January 2018, the Chinese Communist Party deleted the lesson of “Cultural Revolution” from the textbook of Chinese History for the second grade, in an attempt to falsify history and cover up the truth in order to deceive the next generation and make people forget this period of history. In the old version, the seventh lesson of the second unit was “The Decade of the Cultural Revolution”, but this lesson is no longer in the new version.
Jiang Zemin, the former leader of the Chinese Communist Party, falsified the “two fake” archives and covered up the history of the “two traitors” in order to gain the highest power. In 2009, the famous mainland scholar Lu Jiaping published an article to expose Jiang Zemin’s “Two Traitors and Two Fakes”. The two traitors are: Jiang himself and his own father were both Japanese traitors; he was also a spy who worked for the Soviet KGB intelligence spy agency and sold a large part of Chinese territory to Russia. The two falsehoods are: he posed as a fake member of the Chinese Communist Party who joined the underground before 1949; he posed as a fake “martyr” son of Jiang Shangqing, the adopted son of a so-called “martyr” of the Chinese Communist Party.
The Communist Party’s official articles often include such phrases as “party and state”, placing the Communist Party above the state. In order to maintain its dictatorial regime, the CCP indoctrinates the public with the slogan “love the Party and the country” and often chants “the death of the Party and the country” when its regime is in crisis.
In order to achieve political goals, the CCP has deliberately distorted the definition of patriotism: “Love for the Party is love for the country”, “Love for the country is love for the Party”, “The death of the Party is the death of the country”. “Party ugliness is national ugliness, and Party ugliness cannot be spread outside the country”, and so on, as well as the absurd logic that “without the Communist Party, there would be no new China”. In fact, the CCP has taken the whole country hostage, and it has always made no distinction between the Party and the state, deliberately confusing the concepts and boundaries of the Party and the state.
In September this year, the official textbook of the Chinese Communist Party altered the content of the Bible, twisting the story of Jesus’ forgiveness of the adulterous woman into the story of Jesus stoning the woman to death. This scandalous reversal of right and wrong sparked public outrage on the Internet, which denounced the CCP’s move as an act of Satan and the devil. In response, the China Aid Association (USA) criticized the textbook as an obvious malicious distortion of the Bible, which constitutes a serious distortion and blasphemy of Jesus’ image, and stated that in the original New Testament, John 8, Jesus saved, not killed, and never claimed The textbook in question is “The Professions”.
The textbook in question is “Professional Ethics and Law,” a secondary vocational education textbook issued by the University of Electronic Science and Technology Press, which was written to implement the spirit of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the National Medium and Long-Term Education Reform and Development Plan (2010-2020), and was approved by the CPC’s official education department editorial review committee in 2018.

The founding fathers of the United States laid the foundation of the nation – a strong belief in the existence of God and a reverence for traditional moral values and belief in God. For more than two hundred years, the oath of office has been administered to presidents and civil servants alike with the Bible in their hands.
In recent years, the Chinese Communist Party’s red “Great Foreign Propaganda” has spread around the world, buying off most of the American media, including the New York Times. The New York Times has supported the “Black Lives Matter” campaign throughout the United States, and has rarely criticized the ANTIFA group and the Chinese Communist regime, thus raising suspicions about its leftist stance. The New York Times often publishes false news, and has been rejected by the White House, so the contents of its magazine “1619 Project” can be imagined. Over the years, the New York Times has lost millions of copies and is no longer the number one newspaper in the United States.
President Trump is committed to the founding principles of the United States, promoting true patriotism, defending core values, and resisting socialism and communism. “The 1776 Commission promotes patriotic education and true history, rejects the 1619 Project, and saves students from pseudo-history.
