U.S. Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy and Army Chief of Staff Gen. James McConville issued a statement Friday saying they will not be involved in martial law after the election was stolen, according to The Gateway Pundit.
The statement comes after General Michael Flynn suggested that President Trump should order the U.S. military to help seize the Domini voting machines used in this year’s fraudulent election for testing.
Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn’s comments on “Newsmax” television about President Donald Trump weighing “martial law” and “military capability” in the election fraud forced U.S. Army leaders to issue a statement Friday rejecting such considerations.
The statement was followed by an Internet outcry, with the “Army Oath” appearing on the Internet and many users saying the two secretaries should be dismissed immediately.
“The U.S. military has no role in determining the outcome of the U.S. election,” Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy and Army Chief of Staff Gen. James McConville wrote in a joint statement Friday.
The statement echoed one issued by Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, before the election.
Gen. Flynn told Thursday’s “Greg Kelly Report”.
“He (President Trump) could immediately order the seizure of every one of these machines nationwide. He could also order, if he wanted to, a military capability within the swing states to hold a new election in every swing state. This is not unprecedented. “
“I mean, all these people are out there talking about martial law like this is something we’ve never done before. Martial law has been implemented 64 times.”
Flynn’s martial law comments came after Georgia attorney Barrister Lin Wood made comments to Newsmax TV last week.
“If the Supreme Court doesn’t act, I think the president should declare some sort of martial law and he should hold off on the Electoral College.
General Flynn also said, “This country has to have a vote with integrity. The Electoral College doesn’t need to meet and vote until we have resolved these issues.”
The statements by the Secretary of the Army and the Army Chief of Staff immediately sparked a great deal of criticism from netizens, some of whom quoted the Army oath, saying that the Army’s responsibility is “to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic,” when confronted with so many doubts, so many witnesses, so much evidence. These two generals should be relieved of their duties immediately.
