European stocks closed in the black today as markets focused on whether the United Kingdom and the European Union (EU) could finally reach a post-Brexit trade deal.
London’s FTSE 100 index fell 21.88 points or 0.33% to close at 6529.18 points.
Frankfurt’s DAX 30 index fell 36.74 points or 0.27% to close at 13630.51.
The CAC 40 index in Paris fell 21.62 points or 0.39% to close at 5527.84.
