On December 10, the U.S. State Department issued a sanctions order barring 17 foreign officials and their immediate family members from entering the United States for serious human rights violations. One of the 17 is Huang Yuanxiong, a grassroots police officer from Wucun police station in Xiamen, China.
In its sanctions statement, the State Department noted that Huang Yuanxiong had detained and tortured Falun Gong practitioners, seriously violating their freedom of belief. The statement also emphasized that “the world cannot stand idly by while the Chinese government commits horrific and systematic abuses against the Chinese people, including violations of the internationally recognized right to freedom of thought, conscience, religion, or belief.”
It is easy to see from this statement that the United States, and indeed the entire world, has learned that the Communist Party’s thugs and police are only the perpetrators of the “horrific and systematic abuse” of Falun Gong practitioners in China, and that it is the Communist Party’s Jiang Zemin Group that plans, organizes, orders, and initiates this persecution.
This means that the persecution of Falun Gong is not simply “abuse,” but a mass extermination that involves a large number of people (both perpetrators and victims), and a cruel, bloody, and inhumane method.
