Election Update 12. 18: Joe State will check signatures on mailing ballots

After this week’s electoral College vote, attention turns to the upcoming joint session of Congress. Supporters of Donald Trump want members of Congress to oppose the disputed electoral College results in a joint session.

Objections must be made in writing by at least one representative and one Senator. At least four members of the House of Representatives are expected to raise objections, and several senators say they are open to doing so.

On Thursday, multiple media outlets reported that Alabama Republican Elected Senator Tommy Tuberville said the Senate should support challenging the Electoral College vote. He said he would likely support Representative Mo Brooks to challenge him in the joint session. Trump also praised the move on Twitter.

In the American election, the right to vote, the cornerstone of liberal democracy, was trampled by massive electoral fraud, and the judicial system failed to clean up its abuses effectively. Many Americans posted on the White House web site asking president Trump to order martial law to save the country.

Joe’s secretary of state announced earlier this week that matching signatures for mail-in ballots will be conducted in Cobb County. On Thursday, he again announced a comprehensive review of signatures on mail-in ballots in the state’s 159 counties.

Here’s a live update on the U.S. election:

Foreign hacking poses a serious risk to US government networks

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) issued an update alert Thursday related to the system management software SolarWinds, saying APT hackers pose “significant” risks to government and private networks.

CISA’s AA20-352A notice, issued Thursday, said APT hacking groups have been using the opportunity to break into U.S. government agencies, critical infrastructure entities and private companies since at least March 2020. The hackers have shown patience, resources and a focus on the attack, and they have been on the victim network for a long time.

CISA confirmed that the breaches by hacking groups had damaged US government agencies and “critical infrastructure”, and that in doing so, they had used sophisticated techniques that made the threat difficult to detect and difficult to remove.

Is an Electoral College showdown likely in Congress?

On December 14, seven state Democratic electors will vote for Joe Biden, the state’s certified Democratic candidate. But at the same time, the Republican electors also voted for President Trump. This has resulted in a rare group of seven “Dueling Electors”.

When congress receives two sets of electoral votes, members of Congress must consider and vote in a joint session. Both chambers must agree to accept either group’s vote or decide not to accept either. If no agreement is reached between the two chambers, the candidate certified by the governor is counted.

The McConnell Center at the University of Louisville [director Gary Gregg II] told the EPOCH Times, “To have both the Senate and the House pass at the same time? At this point… It’s not going to happen.”

“Neither chamber is going to approve the objection,” Alan Dershowitz, a constitutional scholar, told NTT via email.

“I think when you go to a joint session of Congress, there will be a debate about which electoral lists should be counted, based on the evidence presented at the time and the violations committed.” “Said John Eastman, a law professor at Chapman University Law School.

The email claims Hunt received huge returns from Chinese companies starting in 2019

The number of Revelations related to Huntergate grew. Hunter, the son of 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, was repeatedly told by his former business partner that he would receive a large payment from a Chinese private equity firm starting in 2019, the Daily Caller News Foundation first reported in emails obtained.

Hunter Biden’s former business partner, Eric Schwerin, also told him in a December 2018 email that BHR Partners, a Chinese private equity firm, would be a source of revenue for him “in the next few years.”

And since He took a 10% stake in his company, Skaneateles LLC, two years ago, Mr. Biden has received no return or dividends on his BHR investments, according to George Mesires, a lawyer for Mr. Hunt.

The New Age Chinese in California: most trustworthy

Wendy Wong, a Los Angeles voter who has immigrated to the United States from Hong Kong for more than 20 years, said the two major media outlets covering the U.S. election, the Epoch Times and the New Tang Dynasty are a bright light that gives Americans access to real information. “I recommend watching New Tang Dynasty TV.”

Jenny Chen, a South Canadian voter with 16 years of experience in the media industry, said, “What is public opinion, these rallies and the voices of support are all representative of public opinion. The left media suppress public opinion on one side, but in fact it violates the principles of the media and is very despicable.” “So I watch the Epoch Times and the New Tang People every day. We continue to pray for Donald Trump, for this election, and may God bless America.” She said.

Have multiple times to huntington beach city, jobab Linda city, Beverly hills, Newport beach, attend a sichuan rallies voters Mr Li (Mike Lee) said: “I’ve been to so many events, all could not see what the left coal positive reports, but the epoch of journalists has always insisted on the public opinion, have you really very lucky.

Joe state will examine signatures on mail-in ballots across the state

Brad Raffensperger, Georgia’s secretary of state, announced Dec. 17 that his state would review signatures on mail-in ballots in 159 counties across the state.

Mr. Lafensperger said his office would work with the University to conduct the audit, noting that the partnership would “help build confidence in Georgia’s absentee voting system in future elections.”

“We are confident that Georgia’s elections are safe, reliable and effective,” Ravenspauger said in a statement.

He asserted that the audit would not change the outcome of the November election.

The Trump team had been calling for absentee ballot signatures to be reviewed in Georgia. It said any recount would count as fraudulent mail-in ballots if signatures were not matched.

Trump: This is fake news

After two months of cover-ups and denials, the mainstream media suddenly jumped into action with a high-profile story about the Hunt Biden investigation. Hunter makes a post-election appearance with his father, Joe Biden, on Nov. 7. (Getty Image)
President Donald Trump said On Thursday that he was not involved in a federal investigation into Hunter Biden, the son of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.

“I have nothing to do with the possible prosecution of Hunter Biden or the Biden family,” Trump tweeted. This is just more fake news. In fact, I think it looks very sad!”

In recent days, Trump has made repeated references to the Hunter Biden scandal. On Sunday, he accused Joe Biden of “lying on the [presidential] debate stage”.

“He said: ‘Nothing happened, nothing happened. ‘[Attorney General] Bill Barr should stand up.”

Amistad project Leader: The United States needs to go back to paper elections

Phill Kline, a former Kansas attorney general who now heads the Amistad Project, said the US needed to restore paper ballots and counting procedures to eliminate loopholes created by the growing digital footprint of elections.

“We were in the Bush V. Gore counting room and we all had to look at the vote and decide if it was valid,” he said.

“We can keep the paper tickets, we can audit the paper tickets, we can audit efficiently. But the primary objective should not be to work behind closed doors for efficiency, but to be transparent and accurate. Those are the advantages of paper tickets.” He said.

“We’ve known for years about the vulnerability of digital footprints in elections,” Klein told the audience. “In fact, the FBI estimated in 2016 that more than half of our poll books were hacked by foreign interests. So the digital concerns are real.”

“There’s a lot of evidence that foreign interests are tied to our digital footprint and the way we manage elections,” Mr. Klein said. “Whether we’re going to continue in this way has to be discussed in this country, it has to be discussed openly.”

“I believe there are major loopholes, so we should be honest and go back to paper tickets,” he said.

In 2017, a former head of MI6’s foreign intelligence service said paper ballots were the safest and opposed the long-standing process of allowing machines into the UK to count elections by hand.

Sir John Sawers, head of MI6 from 2009 to 2014, told the BBC that the more systems were connected, the more vulnerable they became.

“The only problem is that the younger generation expects to be able to do things remotely via electronic devices,” he said. “The seemingly clumsy pencil and the piece of paper you fold in half into a ballot box is actually much safer than anything electronic.”

Senator-elect intends to challenge the Electoral College in response

Alabama Republican Senator-elect Tommy Tuberville could join Representative Mo Brooks in challenging the swing state elector vote in a joint session of Congress on January 6. Trump tweeted On Thursday (Dec. 17) that Tarberville was a man of courage and a hero.

On Thursday, several media outlets reported that Mr. Tabberville believed the Senate should support a challenge to the Electoral College vote, and he indicated that he might support Ms. Brooks in mounting a challenge in the joint session.

Trump tweeted praise of Taberville that night, with the president writing: “That’s because he (Taberville) is a great champion and a man of courage. More Republican senators should follow his example.”

“We had a landslide [election] victory, and then it was cheated out of the Republicans, but we’re going to catch them. Do something!” He said.

At a joint session of Congress on January 6, lawmakers can object to the electoral College vote in each state, requiring at least one representative and one senator.

In an exclusive interview with Yellowhammer News on Thursday, Mr. Tabberville said he had not yet made a final decision. He outlined a “due diligence” approach he would take, studying issues and asking voters for feedback before taking a position.

“I want to do what’s best for President Trump, the people of Alabama and the American people,” he said. “But we have to make sure we do the right thing.”

Six us nuclear Safety Agency (NNSA) agencies were affected by APT hackers

The APT hacker group behind the SolarWinds leak also broke into the systems of the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), which maintains the NATION’s Nuclear weapons stockpile, the DEPARTMENT of Energy confirmed on Thursday.

The Department of Energy and the National Nuclear Security Administration, which maintains the U.S. nuclear weapons stockpile, have evidence that hackers accessed their networks as part of a massive espionage operation that affected at least half a dozen federal agencies, according to Politico, citing officials with direct knowledge of the matter.

Shaylyn Hynes, a spokeswoman for the Energy Department, said the investigation had found that the malware did not penetrate critical defense systems, including the National Nuclear Security Administration, and that the hackers had only penetrated business networks.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) issued an updated alert regarding SolarWinds earlier On Thursday, saying the APT hacking group posed “significant” risks to government and private networks.

The APT hacker group, which has been hacking into U.S. networks on a massive scale since at least March 2020, has been using it to hack U.S. government agencies, critical infrastructure entities and private companies.

SolarWinds is a provider of network services to the U.S. Military, and the Dominion, a voting machine company.

The White House “We the People” petition website added a new petition on Wednesday that read, “We the People demand that President Trump order martial law to save our country!”

The petition, signed “B.C.,” said: “our country is currently moving towards a lawless socialist country. The 2020 presidential election is not just a joke, it is the biggest crime in world history. We are more and more like China and Venezuela. Our people do not want to live in a country without security, freedom and freedom of expression. Ask the President to impose martial law and save the country! At least 50% of the American people support you!”

As of 6 p.m. Eastern time on Dec. 17, the petition had 12,307 signatures.
