On December 12, 2020, a tesla Model S lost control in Beijing.
The white Model S suddenly accelerated after entering a residential area near Tiancun village in Beijing’s Haidian district, leaping over a green belt and crashing into a first-floor balcony, according to netizens.
The scene photos show that the left pillar A of Model S is obviously deformed, the windshield warps, the door handle pops out, and the headlight keeps flashing.
According to a photo from the scene, it was a Model S with a blue license plate and was supposed to be an old Model before 2017.
It happened at about 5 o ‘clock in the evening. It was already dark and it was the rush hour. Fortunately, according to the video that has been released, there are probably no casualties.
The force of the impact sent the front of the Model S completely under a first-floor balcony and knocked the concrete wall out of the steel.
According to the owner, he was driving at a low speed when, for some reason, the vehicle lost control and crashed into the residential building at a speed of 80km/h. The whole incident happened quite suddenly.
