The scandal of Chinese spy Fang Fang’s rapid penetration of sensitive U.S. politics through sexual bribery continues to fester. U.S. intelligence experts say that the Chinese Communist Party has been spreading its “beauty ploy” widely in the United States and around the world.
As we reported earlier, the reputation of California Congressman Eric Swalwell (D-CA) has been tarnished by the exposure of Fang Fang’s seduction of U.S. dignitaries in the U.S. media.
Thousands of Chinese Communist spies, both male and female, including gay Americans
A former defense and intelligence official said there are at least hundreds, if not thousands, of Chinese Communist Party spies in the United States, who generally come from top universities, speak fluent English and often use social media platforms such as Linkedin and Facebook to connect with their prey, according to a Dec. 10 Fox News report cited by the Epoch Times.
Del Wilber, a former U.S. intelligence official, said pornographic spies are usually young women, but not always, and that Communist spies are unisex and sometimes even target gays.
He said the spies would record their prey’s inappropriate behavior in photos or videos as evidence of future threats, and “once captured, the prey would be told to cooperate (with the CCP) or their behavior would be disclosed and they would face the risk of divorce and loss of government jobs.”
Targeting low-ranking officials casts a net to “catch all” high-value targets
Multiple former intelligence officials told Fox that Communist spies target different objectives and have different motivations. In the case of Swalwell, for example, they not only targeted the main target, but also networked with people around Swalwell, such as many of his friends, aides, subordinates, interns and others, in an effort to exhaust the social ties of the “high-value target.
The source said that for the past few decades, most of the Chinese spies were pestering the business elite and professors at top labs, but later expanded to the political sphere, and of course, “it is much easier to trap a political figure than to seduce a CEO with millions of dollars.
Daniel Hoffman, a former CIA officer, believes that in addition to Fang’s direct orders from the San Francisco consulate, there are also spies who “fly solo” in order to establish more “personal trust” with their prey and are less likely to be detected.
Hoffman said, “They contacted people like Swalwell and started grooming him when he was a junior official because the Communist spies realized that it was relatively difficult to get close to a big name who was already established.”

Fox reports that Beijing’s beauty trap has spread far beyond U.S. borders, casting a wide net around the world, and that the Communist Party’s pornographic spying on Western society began to flourish as early as shortly after President Nixon’s visit to former Chinese Communist Party leader Mao Zedong.
The most famous of these was double agent Chen Wenying (Katrina Leung in English), who had been involved in espionage for more than 20 years and had navigated between the FBI and the CCP’s MSS (Ministry of State Security), sending her information directly to the desks of the U.S. President and the CCP leader, ostensibly working for U.S. intelligence agencies but secretly working for the CCP.
Chen Wenying also seduced two U.S. FBI officials into bed as her secret lovers on separate occasions, and under her operation, the U.S. FBI’s espionage activities against the CCP were easily captured by the CCP.
The BBC also reported that these CCP pornographic spies were carried out by provincial state security bureaus, with each province responsible for a different region of the world, such as the Shanghai State Security Bureau for infiltrating the United States, Beijing for infiltrating Russia, Tianjin for infiltrating Japan and South Korea, and so on.
In early 2011, French intelligence officials also warned that the Chinese Communist Party had been deploying “beautiful female spies” to steal trade secrets and blackmail nationals. Such incidents included a Communist spy sleeping with a top French drug researcher and using the footage for blackmail.
In the UK, MI5 (M15) said last year that the Chinese Communist Party was using beauty tricks to hack into the UK’s corporate computer community.
In 2008, MI5 sent a document entitled “Threats from Chinese Communist Espionage” to numerous security officials, banks and corporate executives, warning that “it is well known that Chinese Communist intelligence uses sexual relationships and criminal behavior to coerce (prey) into cooperating. “
Former Intelligence Official Confirms: High-End Chinese Communist Spies Shuttled Through Top U.S. Society
Former acting U.S. Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell, who spent eight years at the United Nations, was ambassador to Germany during the Trump administration. In a Dec. 10 television interview with Newsmax, he said numerous U.S. officials were lured by Chinese Communist spies
“It [infiltration] is very deep, and I can assure you that there are many members of Congress, Democratic governors, local officials who have been targeted by spies,” he said.
“I can responsibly say, in fact, I know many people who have been targeted (by Communist spies) and the FBI has briefed them defensively.”
“When the intelligence community knows that a political figure, or any American individual, is being targeted and used by a foreign government, it steps in and tells them the material that the intelligence community has.” Grennell said.
Grennell called on the House and Senate intelligence committees to investigate the Chinese Communist Party’s spying activities. “They (Chinese Communist spies) have infiltrated academia and politics, and we need to act,” he said.
Grunnell said the CCP spies sent to the U.S. are higher-end, “They have to be able to speak English, they have to be able to understand the American way of life, but they also have to have a very deep understanding of the culture and politics of the CCP because they have to travel through the top tier of society.”
He added that Chinese Communist spies are also all over the United Nations, “they go deep into all parts of the UN and they see the cracks.”
Grennell added that the scale of Chinese Communist spying “has increased” during the global pandemic of the Chinese Communist virus (coronavirus). “Since the intelligence community clearly showed that COVID-19 started in China, they (the CCP) have completely lost their reputation” and so their activities have increased.”
