The 87-year-old Democratic senator, Senator Van Steen, was revealed to be suffering from cognitive impairment in his old age.
One of the things that is currently on the radar of both the U.S. government and the public is the infiltration of Chinese communist agents into the U.S. political arena. In addition to young Congressman Eric Swalwell (D-CA), Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) is most likely to be associated with the issue. The reason is that one of Feinstein’s drivers of twenty years is a Chinese Communist agent.
On Wednesday (Dec. 10), it was revealed that the 87-year-old senator, the oldest in the U.S., is in a critical state of mind, barely recognizing people and having trouble remembering things, which is “distressing” to her subordinates and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.
According to the New Yorker, Schumer has discussed her retirement with Van Steen for the second time. Schumer had to remind her of the matter again because Van Steen had long forgotten their first conversation. The magazine quoted the source as saying that the conversation was like “Groundhog Day,” but each time it was filled with new pain.
The article reads, “One also had to get the help of Richard Blum, Van Steen’s husband, beforehand. Meanwhile, Van Steen was surprised and angry at Schumer’s message. He wanted her to retire with dignity during her tenure, but ‘she really wasn’t that aware of the extent to which she was being compromised.'”
The word “compromised” could not be more apt for Pham Stephan, who was “compromised” with the CCP, and in 2018 it was confirmed that one of Pham Stephan’s constant drivers was a CCP spy. In other words, she has been closely infiltrated by the CCP for 20 years.
Now Pham Steen often forgets the contents of briefings given to her by her subordinates and gets angry that she can’t read the documents. “Anyone who has experienced taking the keys to a car from a loved one who is in grade school will know how hard it is.” The New Yorker quoted sources as saying, “But this situation isn’t about a car, it’s about the U.S. Senate.”
Van Steen now chairs the most important committee of the most powerful institution in the United States. A former mayor of San Francisco, she helped make San Francisco and Shanghai “sister cities” and established a personal relationship with Jiang Zemin, then the mayor of Shanghai. This relationship lasted until she became a member of the U.S. Senate Foreign Affairs Committee and later the chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee; during that time, Jiang became the head of the Chinese Communist Party.
In 2000, she successfully lobbied Congress to grant permanent MFN status to the CCP and advocated for China’s accession to the WTO. At the same time, Van Steen’s husband’s business in China was going well, and Blume became a director of China Ocean Shipping Company and CITIC Group Co.
A few days ago, former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani tweeted, “How many Chinese spies are around the big names in the Democratic Party? Senator Van Steen, Congressman Swalwell and Biden, how many more?”
