U.S. Senate: Involved in financial crimes with the Chinese Communist Party Hunter was investigated two years ago

A federal prosecutor’s office grand jury in Delaware has been investigating Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden’s 50-year-old son, Hunter Biden, since 2018, according to a report by the U.S. Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. Biden’s (D-Del.) “taxes. The investigation involves his ties to several Chinese nationals, some of which have been labeled as “potentially criminal financial activity.

Hunter acknowledged the matter in a tweet on Wednesday (Dec. 9).

The report details Hunt’s ties to China Huaxin Energy founder Ye Jianming and his business partner Dong Gongwen.

“Hunter had business dealings with Ye Jianming, Dong Gongwen and other Chinese individuals with ties to the Chinese Communist government and PLA. Those relationships brought in millions of dollars in cash.” Hunter’s relationship with Ye Jianming and Dong Gongwen began in 2015, when Biden was vice president of the United States, the report said.

The report said, “Ye Jianming’s ties to the Chinese Communist government are extensive …… He also has financial ties to James Biden, the brother of Vice President Biden. As a result, there is a vast network of corporate ties and financial transactions between the Biden family and Chinese citizens as well as businesses.”

The report disclosed that on Sept. 8, 2017, Ye Jianming’s company announced a $9.1 billion acquisition of a stake in Rosneft, a Russian state-owned energy company. On the same day, Hunt and Dong Gongwen opened a joint credit card under the business name Hudson West III, which Hunt, James and James’ wife, Sara Biden, were “authorized” to use.

On the same day, members of the Biden family used the credit cards to spend more than $100,000 on airline tickets, technology products, hotel stays and restaurants. These transactions were flagged as “potentially criminal financial activity.

The report also said the credit cards had $99,000 transferred from a China-linked Hudson West III account to a separate account until the credit card account was closed.

“The transaction was determined to be potentially criminal financial activity,” the report added. “According to records on file with the Commission, the Hudson West III checking account was opened with Yan and Hunter on Aug. 3, 2017 and Sept. 6, 2017, respectively. Gongwen Dong is a previous signatory, which suggests he was once associated with Hudson West III’s bank accounts and finances.”

According to the Senate report, on Aug. 4, 2017, a month before the credit card was opened, Jan. Ye Energy’s subsidiary, Huaxin Infrastructure Investment (USA) LLC, where Dong Gongwen is listed as a director, wired $100,000 to Hunt’s law firm, Owasco. The transaction was also flagged as “potentially criminal financial activity,” according to the report.

Four days later, on Aug. 8, 2017, the subsidiary wired $5 million to a Hudson West III account. “The funds may have come from a company called Northern International Capital Holdings, an investment firm based in Hong Kong.” The company, along with Ye Jianming, was once considered a “major shareholder” of Hudson International Ltd. It is unclear whether Hunt owned half of Hudson West III at the time.

On the same day it received the $5 million, Hudson West III began making “recurring payments” to Hunt’s law firm, Owasco, and the payments continued for more than a year, until Sept. 25, 2018, the report added. Those payments, known as consulting fees, amounted to $4,790,375.25 in just one year, with one payment of $1 million on March 22, 2018, the report said.

The Senate report said, “These transactions demonstrate a financial link between Tung Kung Man’s Hudson West III, Janet Yip’s Huaxin and Hunter’s Owasco.”

The report also noted that there were also significant financial transactions between Hunter’s Owasco and James’ Lion Hall Group consulting firm during this period. Between Aug. 14, 2017, and Aug. 3, 2018, such payments totaled nearly $1.4 million. Less than a week after Hudson West III received $5 million, it transferred a $400,000 down payment to Hunt’s Owasco.

The Senate report added that the remittances between Hunter and James were difficult to explain and that Sara (Sara Biden) was allegedly unwilling to cooperate when asked by bank officials about the transfers.

In addition to Owasco, Hudson West III also sent money directly to James’ company, the report said. The payments, which totaled more than $76,000 between January 2018 and October 2018, were labeled as “office expenses and reimbursements.” “These transactions illustrate a direct financial connection between Hudson West III and James.”
