The White House says President Trump, who is infected with the new coronavirus, could leave the military hospital where he has been hospitalized for three days as soon as Monday (May 5). Outside the hospital, dozens of supporters gathered to cheer for Trump. Some were dressed as movie character Batman, while others were not afraid of the epidemic and did not wear masks. There were Vietnamese and Uyghurs at the scene, as well as many members of the “New China Federation”.

In Trump’s hotel in Walter Reed, Maryland, there were Vietnamese, Uyghurs, and many members of the “New Confederation of China”. Outside the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland, where Trump is staying, dozens of supporters gathered on Monday to cheer Trump on. They raised American flags, campaign banners in support of Trump, and occasionally chanted slogans and played music.

Our reporter saw a car owner “saddle up” and chime in when a car approached on a nearby road. Outside the hospital, there were people dressed as the movie character Batman and others who were not afraid of the epidemic, not wearing masks and wearing the style of suits that Trump often wears. Most of the people present were Trump supporters, including Vietnamese and Uighurs. Several members of the “New China Federation” came all the way from New York to Maryland to hold up signs in front of the hospital, including “Down with the Chinese Communist Party.

At 6 a.m. on Monday, Trump sent out nearly 20 tweets in a row, all of them election-related, but he did not disclose his condition. At the time, Trump was still being treated at a military medical center. In the evening of Sunday, he posted a short video praising the professionalism of the medical staff at the National Military Medical Center and thanking them, and then left the hospital by car for a brief appearance in which he said he “wanted to surprise his supporters.

Trump said in the short video, “It was a very interesting experience, I learned a lot about the new coronavirus, I really went to school to learn it, it was a real lesson, not just look at the book class, I get it, I understand, it’s very interesting.”

The White House also released photos of Trump meeting with Vice President Pence, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Miley. Pompeo, who is on a foreign trip, said Trump chaired the national security meeting at the hospital, describing him as in high spirits.

In Taiwan, Legislative Yuan President Yu Shyi-kun said Monday that Taiwan hopes President Trump recovers soon and continues to lead the free world against the Chinese Communist Party’s atrocities. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is using the opportunity to promote the idea that they have the epidemic under control, that socialism with Chinese characteristics has advantages and democracy is flawed,” Yu said. He said, “It’s a good thing we have Taiwan, because Taiwan’s fight against the epidemic is seen as a model, and Taiwan holding on is the same as holding on to democracy.

The first time I saw him, he was in the White House on Friday (2) morning with a high fever, his blood oxygen level dropped below 94%, and he needed extra oxygen, lasting less than an hour; on Saturday (3), his blood oxygen level dropped again, so doctors prescribed steroid dexamethasone, but also used the antiviral drug Raltegravir, as well as an experimental antibody cocktail treatment, and he has been hospitalized for three days with the new coronavirus.
