Elderly couple dismembered their own children in a case within a case, revealing that their daughter and son-in-law were murdered together

An elderly couple has been arrested on suspicion of poisoning, murdering and dismembering their son, a film director, in an incestuous bloodbath in western Tehran, Iran. The suspects later confessed to killing their daughter and son-in-law in the same way three years ago. The murders shocked Iranian society, with some questioning why the police did not investigate when the murdered woman and her husband disappeared.

The incident occurred on Sunday (16), the police received a report that a human limb was found in a garbage can, from the fingerprints of the severed palm identified as 47-year-old man Khorramdin (Babak Khorramdin). Police then went to the residence of Khorramdin’s parents to investigate and arrested the 81-year-old father Akbar Khorramdin and 74-year-old mother Iran Khorramdin.

Akbar told the court that his wife added sleeping pills to the chicken food last Friday night (14), but Khorramdin went home and did not eat, but went straight to bed. The Akbar couple then put the chicken in the refrigerator for their son to eat the next day when he woke up. After eating the chicken and falling unconscious, Akbar tied him to a table and stabbed him multiple times with a plastic bag on his head.

Mr. and Mrs. Akbar have no regrets about the crime, and said their son had been single and in love with a student. As for the murder of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Akbar said their son-in-law had a sadistic streak, while their daughter sank into a sea of drugs. Under Iranian law, murder is punishable by death, while the maximum sentence for killing a biological child is 10 years in prison. However, the Akbars still have a chance of death because their son-in-law is among the dead.
