SAIC Rongwei and Zebra announced that SAIC Rongwei RX5 PLUS has become the first car to go online with the “Learning Power” software.
After it was revealed that the Chinese Communist Party’s political brainwashing cell phone software “Learn Qiangguo” was used as a fraudulent tool, officials did not learn from their mistakes, but instead intensified their efforts to promote it on the eve of the Communist Party’s founding anniversary. A Shanghai-based car dealer even cooperated with Alibaba to launch the first car to go online with “Learn Strong”. Some analysts say that Chinese companies are using “love for the Party” and “showing loyalty to Xi Jinping” as business gimmicks. The software has long been exposed as unsafe.
Shanghai Auto and Zebra announced last Friday (14) that they have created an in-car version of “Learn Strong Country” to celebrate the so-called 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, with the SAIC RX5 PLUS becoming the first vehicle to go live with “Learn Strong Country.
Radio Free Asia reports that Zebra staff confirmed that “Learn Strong” is now on board.
The staff explained that only the RX5 PLUS can be upgraded with the “Learning Power” feature, and that other vehicles are not yet available.
Shanghai Auto and Zebra in the publicity ads claim that the car carrying the “Learning Power” software will bring users a “full-scene learning” new experience, deep integration of travel scenarios, in the car on the road, highlighting the audio content, a key to play “core key content”; and in the parking, users can watch video learning, cloud.

It is reported that Zebra is a “connected car solution” provider jointly created by SAIC and Alibaba, while Alibaba, founded by Jack Ma, is also the developer of the mobile version of the “Learning Power” software. As Ma’s family of companies is being purged by the authorities, the car version of “Learning Power” is “timely” to go online just before the centennial of the Communist Party’s founding, which has attracted much attention.
French commentator Wang Longmeng told Radio Free Asia that “loving the country and the Party” and “supporting Xi Jinping” can be realized in China, and that SAIC is targeting this opportunity to turn “Learn Strong Country” into a marketing gimmick just before the centennial of the Communist Party’s founding. It is disgraceful that SAIC has turned “learning to be a strong country” into a marketing gimmick. What’s even scarier is that the “Learn Strong” software was exposed as collecting citizen data long ago, and when you have this software installed in your car, your travel whereabouts should be in the hands of the authorities. Judicious customers should boycott such products.
Wang Longmeng agrees that “Learning to be Strong” is like the “Red Book” of the Mao era, and that Xi Jinping has brought China to a ridiculous “Cultural Revolution 2.0″. Learning to be strong” has now entered into the details of every citizen’s life, even when driving. The Chinese Communist Party uses high-tech totalitarian methods to brainwash and control the population. Alibaba, as the technology behind it, is still playing the role of an enabler, even though Jack Ma has been retaliated and harvested by the CCP.
Led by the CCP’s Propaganda Department, the “Learning Power” software was launched on January 1, 2019. It features “Xi Jinping Thought” and “Xi Jinping Time,” with a focus on glorifying Xi Jinping’s achievements across the board. The authorities have forced members of government enterprises and institutions to install and promote the software to the public. A point system is used to encourage users to read the software’s articles and videos, and the points can be exchanged for material rewards or used as indicators in the evaluation of public officials.
The “Learning Power” software was launched after a scandal, recently, Sichuan, Zhejiang and other places police issued a warning notice, said that there are unscrupulous elements using the “Learning Power” software to carry out fraud, there are a number of institutional female surname into the online love affair was cheated millions of money.
In October 2019, the U.S. Open Technology Fund (Open Technology Fund) commissioned German security firm Cure53 to investigate and release a report stating that the “Learning Power” application has huge security vulnerabilities that could be exploited by the Chinese Communist authorities. The Chinese Communist authorities could use the app to access information and photos on the phones of more than 100 million users, browse their contacts, access website history, and even activate recording devices on their phones.
