On May 14, Yao Xishuang, deputy secretary of the Party group and deputy director of the Liaoning Provincial Department of Justice, was notified that he was suspected of serious disciplinary violations and was being investigated. On the same day, Liaoning Province informed that there are 9 other officials of the political and legal system being investigated.
In addition to Yao Xishuang, the other nine people are Wang Chunming, deputy secretary of the party group and vice president of the Huanggu District Court in Shenyang, a member of the trial committee and a second-level senior judge; Li Zhi, a member of the second civil court of the Liaocheng District Court in Shenyang and a third-level senior judge; Feng Fei, a first-level police inspector and head of the internal security brigade of the Ganjingzi Branch of the Dalian Public Security Bureau; Huang Jin, a second-level judge and deputy head of the criminal trial court of the Tiedong District Court in Anshan City; Huang Jin, a second-level judge and head of the public security bureau of Fushun City. Traffic Management Bureau (head of the traffic police detachment of Fushun Public Security Bureau), Senior Superintendent of Police Xia Shuangjie, Grade 3; Judge Yu Jun, post of Civil Division 1 of Dandong Intermediate Court, Grade 4 Senior Judge; Xing Shiqiang, chief of the Criminal Police Brigade of Yingkou Economic and Technological Development Zone Public Security Bureau; Gao Changlin, Grade 4 Superintendent of the Logistics Security Brigade of Lingyuan No. 1 Prison; former chief of the Economic Crime Investigation Brigade of Jianchang County Public Security Bureau of Huludao City (head of the Criminal Crime The first of these is the former head of the economic crime investigation brigade (head of the criminal crime investigation brigade) and senior sergeant Li Weifan, grade four.
When the Epoch Times searched for the biographies of these nine people, it found that there was little public information on them. The website of the Liaoning Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection also did not disclose the biographies of these nine people, but only listed the biography of Yao Xishuang.
Yao Xishuang, 58, worked in an independent group of Liaoning military district as a custodian in the logistics department; from September 1983, he was transferred to the Armed Police Liaoning General Force, where he served as the detachment’s acting chief of staff, the General Force’s teaching team, the General Force’s platoon commander, deputy company commander, squadron leader, brigade commander, and deputy director of the production department; from August 1998, he was transferred to the Liaoning Provincial Public Security Department, where he served as chief of the economic investigation department, chief of the anti-counterfeiting department, deputy director of the accounting and finance department, director of the supervision department, and director of the accounting and finance department. Since May 2013, Yao Xishuang has served as deputy mayor and director of the Municipal Public Security Bureau in Panjin City for four years; since June 2017, he has been promoted to the Liaoning Provincial Department of Justice as deputy secretary of the Party Group, secretary of the Party Committee and director of the Liaoning Provincial Prison Administration; since January 2018, he has been deputy secretary of the Party Group and deputy director of the Liaoning Provincial Department of Justice, secretary of the Party Committee and director of the Liaoning Provincial Prison Administration; since May 2019, he has been deputy secretary of the Party Group of the Liaoning Provincial Department of Justice Secretary and Deputy Director.
