U.S. Media Exclusive: Rep. Brooke Says Not Enough Elected Officials Think Big Tech Censorship Is a Problem

Too few elected officials see the left-wing censorship of Big Tech as a problem, and too many socialist Democrats see the political benefits of such censorship and are political beneficiaries of it, federal Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ariz.) told Breitbart News Tuesday (May 11).

Speaking on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily, Brooke said, “Instead of antitrust under the antitrust laws, the government allows Big Tech to have monopolies like speech censorship, which we knew back in the 19th century was bad for society. We have antitrust laws, and I don’t think we should let these big tech monopolies on speech like Facebook and Twitter off the hook and not allow them to continue to engage in the anti-American, anti-First Amendment process of blocking free speech.”

Brooke revealed that “behind the scenes, Democrats are supporting this censorship and stopping at all costs any aggressive countermeasures to keep America from becoming a free speech society again.”

Brooke is running for Senate in 2022, representing Alabama.
