Britney and her father are in a cold war and want to remove him from custody

Recently, Britney Spears will appear before a judge next month in a custody case in which she will petition to end her father’s custody of her, according to foreign media reports.

The singer’s latest legal action is related to her father, Jamie Spears, who controls her custody. The relationship between the two is said to be cold, with Britney and her father allegedly no longer speaking.

Britney’s finances and personal life have reportedly been controlled by an executive since her highly publicized bankruptcy in 2008. Britney has been embroiled in a legal dispute over custody since 2019, with the latest reports claiming she wants her father to no longer be her legal guardian. The singer will reportedly go to court next month to ask a judge on her own behalf to remove her father from her custody.

The source says: “She has 99 percent of the freedom she had when she didn’t have custody, and the only thing that stopped her from doing was crazy things like buying three cars at once (something she used to want to do).” Britney is now free to travel and has been seen relaxing on a beach in Hawaii with her boyfriend Sam Asghari in recent months.

But even when she’s in Los Angeles, life is reportedly not really restricted. Britney has absolute freedom when it comes to travel, she travels to Hawaii regularly, and it was clear to her before she was regulated that her life was out of control, and she knew that regulation would be beneficial in protecting her assets.

A media report said: “(Britney) has been angry with him over business issues and Jamie has embraced some of the people on the team …… Britney doesn’t like these people because she feels they are not acting out of their own interests but out of their own.”

Britney allegedly refuses to perform again unless her father is no longer a co-custodian.

What Britney wants to discuss with the judge is the removal of the co-custodian of Jamie’s estate and her head of business affairs, who currently has no doubt that she is under supervision and has a cordial relationship with Jodi Montgomery, the other permanent custodian. And the star is said to be happy to have her friend Jodi Montgomery continue as administrator – a role she was appointed to in 2019.

On Monday, May 3, Britney took to social media to publicly blast two recent docu-dramas that dissected her personal and artistic life. She wrote, “Welp, 2021 is going to be much better than 2020, but I never thought it would be. What can I say, flattered by so many documentaries about me by other people this year !!!! These films are so hypocritical, criticizing the media on one side and doing the same hook.”
