Facebook, the world’s largest social media platform, got into a fight with crypto communications Signal, this week, over the content of an ad.
In a blog post on May 5th, Signal said that Facebook blocked one of its ads on Instagram. And Instagram, which is owned by Facebook. The ad, was showing users, how much user data Instagram, and parent company Facebook, collects. As a result, Signal’s Facebook ad account was disabled. However, a Facebook spokesperson responded on May 5, saying that Signal never tried to run these ads.
