Orrin Heatlie, president of the coalition, said, “We celebrate the millions of Californians who have taken the campaign to recall Governor Newsom into their hands as this grassroots movement moves into a new phase.”

Randy Economy, senior advisor and official spokesman for the “Recall Newsom” campaign, said, “Remember this is a Citizen Democracy, and the ultimate judge and jury are the people, not the political elite, not the party bosses and others. The political elite, not party bosses and other outsiders, the people are overseeing California.”

“We will not allow failed politician Gavin Newsom to control every aspect of the lives of 40 million Californians.” said Mike Netter, co-sponsor of the “Recall Newsom 2020” campaign.

“This is an all-volunteer campaign, with thousands of full-time volunteers from 58 counties across California.” So what’s next for the campaign, Heatley said, “We are now urging anyone who believes in grassroots democracy to make a small donation to help advance this historic movement. Every donation is a most important contribution and it is invaluable to our official campaign.”
