U.S. data is bright. U.S. stocks hit another record high! Dow closes up 97 points

U.S. data showed that domestic private sector employment grew steadily and service sector activity also showed growth, with the major U.S. stock indices closing mostly in the red today, with the Dow reaching a new high. TSMC ADR rose 0.02% and closed at $115.38.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 97.31 points or 0.29% to close at 34230.34 points.

The S&P rose 2.93 points or 0.07% to close at 4167.59 points.

Technology stocks Nasdaq fell 51.08 points or 0.37% to close at 13,582.43 points.
