The iPhone 13 Pro Max is narrower and the earpiece has been moved to the top. The actual measurement of the iPhone 12 Pro Max is 34.62 mm wide and the iPhone 13 Pro Max is 26.31 mm wide.
The thickness of the iPhone 13 Pro Max is 7.52mm and the single lens diameter is about 16.99mm, compared to the iPhone 12 Pro Max lens diameter of 14.11mm, a difference of almost 3mm.
