America’s most successful investor Warren Buffett picks his successor – current Vice Chairman Greg Abel

Warren Buffett, one of the world’s richest people, gave the name of the person who would succeed him as chairman of Berkshire Hathaway Holdings Inc. According to CNBC, he is Greg Abel, the company’s current vice chairman.

Buffett noted, “The board agreed that if something were to happen to me today, it would be Greg who would replace me tomorrow morning.”

As the CNBC channel points out, the media has continued to ask questions in recent years about who could be Buffett’s successor. Two candidates are being considered: Abel and Vice Chairman Ajit Jain. Both are taking office in 2018.

So far, Buffett has not been able to announce a replacement for his Berkshire Hathaway chairman.
