The Chinese Communist virus (COVID-19) continues to escalate in India, with the total number of reported cases approaching 20 million. As of Monday (May 3), the daily number of new infections has exceeded 300,000 for the 12th consecutive day. Scientists are predicting that the wave of CCP virus in India will reach its peak in the coming days.

According to India’s Ministry of Health, the country has seen 368,147 new cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the cumulative number of infections to 19.93 million and increasing the total number of deaths by 3,417 to 218,959. Medical experts say the actual number of the epidemic could be five to 10 times higher than the official count for the country’s 1.35 billion people.

On Saturday, India became the first country in the world to have more than 400,000 daily infections, with a record 401,993 cases, dropping to 392,488 on Sunday. The high national record of 3,689 deaths on Sunday followed 3,523 deaths on Saturday.

According to a mathematical model by a team of scientists advising the government, cases of the CCP virus in India may have peaked between May 3-5, several days earlier than previously estimated, as the CCP virus spread faster than expected.

Hospitals in India are already full, medical oxygen supplies are short, morgues and crematoria are near collapse, and at least 11 states and UTs have imposed some form of travel restrictions to stop the infection.

India’s communist virus epidemic is very serious, but the country’s largest vaccine manufacturer has left the country. According to the U.S. financial news website “Business Insider” (Business Insider) 2 reported, India’s largest vaccine manufacturer Serum Institute of India (Serum Institute) CEO Adar Poonawalla (Adar Poonawalla said he fled India because of persistent threats against him.

In an interview with the British newspaper The Times, Poonawalla said he went to the United Kingdom to escape threats and that people accused him of delaying vaccine production.

In the interview, Punawara said he would stay in Britain for a long time “because I don’t want to go back to that situation. But a few hours after the interview was published, Punawara backtracked, tweeting that he would return to India “in a few days”.

On Saturday, India opened vaccinations to all people 18 years and older, but several states said they were running low on vaccine supplies. According to The Financial Express, Punawara said India’s shortage of the Chinese communist virus vaccine will continue until July, when production is expected to increase from 60-70 million to 100 million doses.
