Famous psychologist David R. Hawkins analyzed the energy level of various emotions, from the most negative and hurtful emotions to the most positive and nourishing ones. Of all the emotions, what do you think should be the lowest ranked, instead of anger, sadness, or fear? What do you think would be the highest ranked emotion, if not pride, courage, or true love?

(From 0 to 1000, below 200 is negative, above 200 is positive)
Shame: (20) Shame
The energy level of shame is close to death, it is like a suicidal act of consciousness that subtly takes away one’s life. In the condition of shame, we would like to find a crack in the ground or wish we could be invisible.
Guilt: (30) Guilt
Guilt presents itself in many ways, such as remorse, self-blame, masochism, and all episodes of victimization are. Unconscious guilt can lead to physical and mental illness, as well as suicidal behavior that brings about accidents. It also frequently manifests itself in frequent episodes of anger and fatigue.
Apathy: (50) Apathy
This energy level manifests as poverty, disappointment and a sense of helplessness. The world and the future look hopeless. Apathy means helplessness and makes the person a victim in all aspects of life. Lacking more than resources, they also lack luck. Unless they have an outside helper to lift them up, they are likely to sink to their death.
Grief: (75) Grief
This is the energy level of grief, loss and dependency. People in this energy level lead a life of eight lifetimes of remorse and depression. This life is filled with remorse, self-recrimination and mourning for the past. People in grief see the world as gray and black.
Fear: (100) Fear
Looking at the world from this energy level, it is full of danger, entrapment and threats. Once people begin to focus on fear, there are literally endless amounts of unsettling things coming their way. This can then lead to compulsive fear, which hinders the growth of the personality and eventually leads to repression. Because it is allowing energy to flow into fear, this repressive behavior cannot be raised to a higher level.
Desire: (125) Desire
Desire makes us expend a lot of effort to achieve our goals and to get our rewards. It is also an addictive energy level, and there is no telling when a desire will become more powerful than life itself. Desire means accumulation and greed. Desire can help put us on the path of accomplishment. But desire can be a stepping stone to a higher level than knowing.
Anger: (150) Anger
If someone can break out of the circle of indifference and guilt and escape the grip of fear, he begins to have desire, which brings frustration and then anger. Anger is often expressed as resentment and revenge, and it is fickle and dangerous. Anger comes from unfulfilled desires, from a lower energy level than that. Frustration comes from magnifying the importance of the desire. Anger can easily lead to hatred, which gradually erodes one’s mind.
Pride: (175) Pride
This energy level is perceived as positive compared to other lower energy levels. In fact, pride makes people feel better, only compared to other lower energy levels.
Pride is defensive and vulnerable because it is a feeling based on external conditions. Once the conditions are not in place, it is easy to fall to a lower energy level. The expansion of the ego is the fuel for pride and arrogance, and the ego is often susceptible to attack. Thus the evolutionary tendency of pride is arrogance and denial. And these are resistant to growth.
Courage: (200) Courage
At the energy level of 200, motivation becomes apparent. Courage is the foundation for self-expansion, achievement, perseverance, and decisive decision-making. At lower energy levels than this, the world can seem helpless, disappointing, frustrating, and scary, but at the energy level of courage, life can seem exciting, challenging, and fun. At this dynamic energy level, people are empowered to take advantage of life’s opportunities. Therefore personal growth and education are viable paths. Obstacles that are able to combat people with energy levels below 200 are a piece of cake for those who have evolved to the 200 energy level. People who reach this energy level always give back as much energy as they can to the world. People below this energy level are constantly drawing energy from society and not giving anything back.
The energy level of collective human consciousness was stuck at 190 for hundreds of years and, strangely enough, suddenly jumped to 207 in the last decade, and then to 204 in 2006 and 205 in 2007.
Neutrality: (250) Fade
All energies reaching this energy level become active. At energy levels below 250, consciousness tends to be fragmented and rigid. At this energy level, the consciousness tends to be flexible and undifferentiated. Arriving at this energy level means transcendence of the outcome and one does not experience frustration and fear. It is a level of security. People who come to this energy level are easy to get along with and feel warm and reliable. Because they are not interested in disputes, competition, or crime. Such people are always calm and collected. They do not try to force others to do anything.
Willingness: (310) Initiative
This level of consciousness can be seen as a doorway to a higher level. People at the Willingness level will do their job as it should be done. However, people at the proactive level usually perform well and strive for success. People at this level grow rapidly and are candidates for human progress. People below the 200 level are closed-minded, but people at the 310 level are fully open. People at this energy level are usually sincere and friendly, and are prone to social and economic success. They can always help people and contribute to the progress of society. They are also comfortable with internal situations and do not have major learning disabilities. Given their ability to rise from adversity and learn from experience, they are able to adjust themselves. Having released their pride, they are able to see their own shortcomings and learn from the strengths of others.
Acceptance: (350) Tolerance
At this energy level, a huge shift occurs in the understanding that one is the master of one’s own destiny and the creator of one’s own life. Below the 200 level, people are powerless and usually see themselves as victims, completely at the mercy of life. This view is rooted in the belief that one’s happiness and suffering come from something “outside”. At the level of tolerance, there is nothing “external” that can make a person happy, and love is not something that can be given or taken away, it comes from within. Tolerance means letting life be as it is, without intentionally shaping it into a particular pattern. People at this level are not interested in judging what is right or wrong, rather they are interested in being involved in solving problems. They are more interested in long-term goals, and good self-discipline and self-control are their distinguishing characteristics.
Reason: (400) Wise
Beyond the lower energy levels of emotionalism, they enter the stage of reasoning and intelligence. This is the energy level where science, medicine, and the ability to conceptualize and understand are formed. Here knowledge and education become the credentials. This is the energy level of Nobel laureates, great statesmen and presiding officers of high courts. Einstein, Freud, and many other thinkers throughout history were at this level. The disadvantage of people at this level is that they focus too much on the distinction between symbols and the meaning they represent. Wisdom does not lead one to truth. It simply produces a great deal of information and documentation, but lacks the ability to resolve discrepancies in data and results. Wisdom itself is one of the greatest barriers to higher levels of power. There are very few people in our society who are able to move beyond this level.
Love: (500) Love
Love here is not love in the sense that is usually portrayed in various media. It is easy to put on the mask of anger and dependency. When this love is frustrated, it can immediately turn into resentment. The love that triggers resentment comes from pride rather than true love.
This 500-level love is unconditional love, unchanging love, permanent love. This love does not waver, it does not come from external factors. Love is the basic state of being. Love is the tolerance that nourishes and sustains the world. It is not intellectual love, it is not love from the mind, it is love from the heart. Love is always focused on the good side of life and increases the positive experience. This is the energy level of true happiness.
Only 0.4% of the world’s population ever reaches this level of consciousness evolution.
Joy: (540) Joy
As love becomes more and more infinite, it begins to develop into inner joy. This is the joy that rises from within, not from without, in every present moment. 540 is also the level of having healing and spiritual independence. From there, it is the energy level of many saints and advanced practitioners and healers. People at this level are characterized by their great patience and their enduring optimism and compassion for recurring difficulties. People who reach this level have a significant impact on others. Their enduring concern brings love and peace.
To those with an energy level above 500, the world is full of shining beauty and perfect creation. Everything happens effortlessly and simultaneously. Actions that are rare to them will be seen as miracles by ordinary people. Near-death experiences characteristically appear in their transformations, which also allow them to experience energy floating between 540 and 600.
Peace: (600) Peace
This energy level is associated with what is called excellence, self-realization, and Christ consciousness. It is so rare that only one in 10 million people will reach it. Once this energy level is reached, the distinction between inner and outer disappears and the senses are shut down. The perception of those at energy level 600 and above is like slow motion, where time and space are suspended – nothing is fixed, and everything is alive and shining. While to others the world is the same, to this person the world is one, dancing in concert with the evolution of the cosmic source, in a constant flow of floating evolution.
It is an extraordinary, unspeakable phenomenon, so the mind remains silent for a long time, no longer analyzing and judging. The observer and the observed become one and the same, the viewer dissolves into the view and becomes the view itself. Works of art, music and architecture with an energy level between 600 and 700 can temporarily take us to what is commonly thought of as a psychic and eternal state.
Enlightenment: (700 – 1000) Enlightenment
This is the energy level of all the great people in history who have created spiritual models that have been followed by countless people throughout the generations. This is the energy level of the powerful inspirations who were born and formed the gravitational field that influenced all of humanity. At this energy level there is no longer a sense of separation between individuals, but instead a unity of consciousness and divinity.
This is the pinnacle of the evolution of human consciousness. At this energy level, there is no longer an attachment to the body as “I” and no longer a concern for it. It is the energy level of complete unity. In history, there have been people with such a high level of intelligence.
