Funny James’ jitterbug video goes viral Officer suspended without pay Friends launch fundraiser

The Gateway Pundit reported April 28 that the police officer who posted the hilarious James video on Jitterbug has been suspended without pay. Nate Silvester, a Bellevue, Idaho police officer who posted the innocuous joke video, was trying to “humanize policing” with his topical and funny post on Shakeology.

According to Gannon Ward, a close friend of Sylvester’s, the city did not find the officer’s video as funny as the general public did, and has now suspended Sylvester for a week. While he is still on the police department’s roster, the angry left is definitely going to try to change that.

In the video, Sivest pretends to call, “Dispatch, I have arrived at the scene of the disturbance. Please have James call my cell phone immediately. Thank you.”

Sivest continues to pretend he is asking an attacker to, “put the knife down” and “stop attacking people” while waiting for a call from James.”

James called, and Sivest said, “James, it’s me again. Listen, I’m here at the scene of a disturbance and there’s a man trying to stab another man with a knife. What do you think I should do?”

The video assumes that James is asking whether the two people in the chokehold are of a black or white race. Sylvester said, “What does it matter? It’s a black man who is trying to stab another black man with a knife anyway, and it’s perfectly reasonable for the police to use deadly force in that situation. “

The video then assumes that James spoke a long string of words to which the officer replied, “So, James, you don’t care if a black man kills another black man, but you do care if a white cop kills a black man, even though the white cop was trying to save the black man’s life? For the sake of you playing good basketball, I hear you.”

Sivest ended the call and waved to the imaginary assassin and his victim saying, “Sorry guys, you’re on your own to live, good luck.”

Sylvester’s close friend, Gannon Ward, has launched a fundraising page to recover the damages caused by Sylvester’s suspension without pay.
