The latest notification from China’s National Health Commission is that as of April 19, a cumulative total of 190 million doses of vaccination against the new crown virus had been reported. Although no official cases of death after vaccination have been announced, there are rumors among the public that people have suffered adverse health reactions and even died after receiving the vaccine.
In an interview with Radio Free Asia this Wednesday (21), Wuhan resident Chen Daguang said.
“There are no formal reports about any side effects (cases) of vaccines, and if there are folk on the Internet, he (officially) immediately deleted them. The people know very well whether the vaccine is good or bad. The 28-year-old soldier in Shenzhen (after vaccination), his sister posted online and was threatened by the local (police).”
Punished for turning negative news about unofficial vaccination
Recently, a female netizen in Nanjing was sentenced to administrative detention by the police for disclosing on the Internet that vaccination could kill her. Jiangsu net police microblogging notice this Monday (20), Nanjing net police patrol law enforcement found a netizen in a short video platform posted “new crown vaccine caused death” comments message, causing mass panic. The netizen, Pan Moumou, confessed after arriving at the case that she had deliberately published the rumor “New Crown vaccine can’t be administered, killing people” to attract attention. Currently, Pan is under administrative detention for 7 days.
The authorities have banned people from spreading information online about side effects or deaths after vaccination. Zhang Hai, a resident of Wuhan, told the station that he was very upset.
“At every turn, you put a label of disinformation on people. I always say that the outbreak of New Coronavirus pneumonia was in Wuhan, and the facts speak louder than words, not that you (officials) can talk nonsense just because you have the resources of public opinion. The risk factor of the domestic vaccine itself is huge. It leads to loss of life, and it can’t be said. This is a very abnormal social phenomenon. “

According to the official announcement of Hong Kong, as of early April, 16 people have died after receiving the new crown vaccine, 14 of whom received the domestically produced vaccine. The Hong Kong government has been emphasizing that the deaths are not directly related to the vaccine.
Zhong Nanshan, director of the Chinese Clinical Medical Research Center for Respiratory Diseases, pointed out in an exclusive interview with Phoenix earlier this month that although the lowest efficiency rate of the Chinese Kexin vaccine is only 50.4 percent, people should also be vaccinated.

Most of the deaths circulating online are among young people under 30 years old
Just last week, netizen “Yamashita Hananozi” disclosed on her personal microblogging account that her 28-year-old brother died on April 15 after he suffered subcutaneous bleeding and gum bleeding after receiving an inactivated vaccine from Sinopharm in Shenzhen’s Binhe Avenue Women’s and Children’s Social Health Center, and was hospitalized on March 24 with a sudden cerebral hemorrhage. Subsequently, the above news was blocked.
That night, “Yamashita Hananozi” left a message saying that she received a warning call from her brother’s unit, the border police, and the Shenzhen Futian Health Bureau, and that her post was also blocked. She questioned: “One I did not create rumors, two I as a family member to raise questions, need answers, I did not want to go against the national government, I want to give my brother justice.”
Another female university student, 22, who was vaccinated with the new crown vaccine, developed acute cerebral hemorrhage and shock symptoms on April 12. The netizen who posted the above news said that her schoolmate fainted after receiving the domestic vaccine and was eventually forced to be admitted to the ICU, and the hospital even issued a critical illness notice, and she is still not out of the danger period. The above message has been blocked for now.
On April 10, Gao Fu, director of the CDC, admitted that “the effectiveness of vaccine protection in China is not very high” and that “we need to consider the path to solve the low protection rate of existing vaccines”. However, Gao later said that media reports misinterpreted his meaning.
