One America News reports that Biden signed a memo prohibiting federal agencies from using terms related to their geographic origin, such as China or Wuhan virus, when referring to the coronavirus.
While not directly mentioning President Trump, the memo does specifically blame “the actions of political leaders” for “fueling xenophobia against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. However, a recent CBS News review found that any executive order issued by President Trump related to the Chinese Communist virus “does not specifically mention the Chinese virus.
The sparse number of specific measures set forth in the memo include directing federal agencies to review the use of these terms in existing policy directives or government publications.
This, according to CNN, is a clear attempt by Biden to focus attention not on the Trump administration’s accomplishments in fighting the epidemic, but on whether the former administration was politically correct when it came to the name of the epidemic. Joe Biden seems to value symbolic gestures more than anything else, and policies that have a measurable impact on the well-being and health of American citizens are not a priority for Biden instead.
Moreover, the Xi regime of the Chinese Communist Party has been attempting to divert attention away from the origins of the virus, and this move is seen as a gift to the international discourse of the Communist Party’s attempt to redefine the virus.
The Gateway Pundit thinks this news this is important! China’s Joe signed an executive order banning the federal use of the term “Wuhan virus” to describe the Wuhan virus, saying it was xenophobic. This shows that we are living in a world of clowns.
