The time on it was written as “repaired in the year of Qianlong (乾隆丙寅)”, and after looking up the calendar online, it was confirmed to be in the 11th year of Qianlong (乾隆), that is, 1746 AD.
The photos circulating online show that the tombstone is located on the west side of Sun Moon Lake, near the Dazhu Lake trail. The tombstone reads “Cai Gong Zhu Tian Bei Jia Cheng”, by “Yang man Sun Lishi”, and the ancestral cousin number is “Yong Tun (Guangxi Province)”. Some netizens assisted in the investigation and found that “Jia Cheng” means “tombstone”, and some netizens said: “275 before repairing again, may be to pick up the bones over again buried”.

As the descendants of the local Huang surname in Sun Moon Lake account for most of the descendants, there is no historical data of the Cai family, and it is difficult to verify the origin of the tombstone.
Sun Moon Lake is in severe drought, and the bottom of the lake has become a big grassland.
