President Biden is scheduled to deliver his first address to a joint session of Congress on April 28.

Biden’s joint session of Congress speech marks his first 100 days in office. On this day in modern history, U.S. presidents have been judged by outsiders for the accomplishments of their administrations during the initial four years of their terms.

The speech will take place in the House of Representatives. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sent a letter to Biden on Tuesday inviting him to share “a vision for addressing the challenges and opportunities of this historic moment.

The White House said in a statement that Biden accepted the invitation.

It is unclear how the event will take place given the current epidemic and health precautions.

Normally, when a joint session is held, the House chamber is usually packed, with members of both the House and Senate in attendance, and there will be guests watching from the upper floor seats. However, the current House rules require members of the House to vote and other matters to be conducted in small gatherings, everyone must wear a mask, the public is also temporarily not allowed to visit the House.
