A thrilling scene! Beijing to Qiqihar train was forced to stop by fire

On April 10, the K382 train from Beijing to Qiqihar, Heilongjiang was suddenly forced to stop by fires on both sides of the railroad while it was in motion. Passengers were stranded on the train waiting, and the carriage was baked by the fire.

According to land media reports, at around 15:00 on the morning of the 10th, the K382 train from Beijing to Qiqihar, Heilongjiang Province, was on its way to the territory of Fuxian County when it was suddenly found that the reeds on both sides of the railroad had burst into flames. The train was forced to stop moving forward and passengers were all stranded on the train until the fire burned from the train’s location to some distance away from the train before the train continued to move forward again.

Afterwards, the passengers on the train in an interview with the land media recalled that when the train suddenly stopped, everyone looked out, only to see black smoke rolling outside the windows, after a while the fire burned over, there were flames outside the window, the fire baked the train carriage hot. The conductor told the passenger to stay away from the windows.

The passenger said the train stopped for about half an hour, “the train drove away, the fire continued to be forward (burning), about a few minutes after the drive, the fire truck came over”.

April 11 at 11:38 p.m., @ Qiqihar train section informed that at 15:08 on the 10th, Qi Bei line between Fuhai and affluent 82km219m, reed wildfire forced to stop K382 train, by the affluent county ranch fire department to fight, 15:50 will be extinguished on both sides of the line open fire, no casualties and property damage.

Under the relevant reports, some netizens left a message saying, “The high temperature will cause the rail expansion deformation, too dangerous.”
