On April 12, Li Hongshan, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Miyun District People’s Congress in Beijing, was investigated for allegedly committing a serious “disciplinary offence”.
Li Hongshan is a Beijing native and has been in Beijing all his career, including many years in Miyun County. Li was promoted to deputy secretary of the Miyun District Economic Development Zone Work Committee and director of the Miyun Economic Development Zone Management Committee in February 2011, and has served as deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Miyun District People’s Congress since December 2016.
