Recently, according to media reports, two Hangzhou customers were injured by a falling ceiling after ordering food at Chen He’s hot pot restaurant before they could start eating. The female customer was injured on her head and hand, while the male customer was burned by the bottom of the hot pot that fell from the ceiling. The injured customer wants Chen He’s hot pot restaurant to compensate 70,000 to 80,000, but the hot pot restaurant manager feels that the compensation requirement is too high and cannot afford it, saying that he is only willing to pay 40,000 yuan in compensation, so the two sides are at an impasse.
