Who really hates Asians?

Recently there have been multiple attacks on Asians in New York and San Francisco in the United States. This has sparked another progressive movement for human rights across the United States: against hatred of Asians. As an Asian, I am of course not very grateful for the sobbing and falling flowers: look, the US is so racist, it still needs the leftist progressivism.

From these few attacks on Asians, it is easy to conclude that there is “discrimination against Asians” in a simple summary. But this is obviously just the math level of elementary school students. Sadly, American education has in fact regressed to the point where math is seen as “racist”. This is the official educational curriculum of the Seattle School District. So it is inevitable that the vast majority of Americans will simply generalize statistics. But the fact is, compared to the more than 20 million Asians in the United States, this is not a large number of cases. It is far less than the number of Asians who are run over by cars every day. So, although I am enjoying this wave of “progressive care” from the left, my reason tells me that it is not statistically sound to say “anti-discrimination against Asians” based on just these few cases.

And when it comes to racial discrimination, isn’t it white discrimination against people of color? But in the recent attacks, none of the suspects were white! Instead, they were mostly darker people. I’m just citing facts here, not my own perceptions of the various races. Look, even I, who have always been bold, have to “politically correct” to exonerate myself when it comes to race, rather than dare to be reckless. It is clear how far the freedom of speech in the United States has fallen. Obviously, even a simple generalization would lead to at least one conclusion: discrimination against Asians has nothing to do with the traditional “white discrimination” in America. And if we look deeper into these cases, we will find that the suspects basically have previous convictions, some of them are repeat offenders themselves. And these cases are all happening in metropolitan areas where the Democratic Party has absolute control.

The common feature of these cities is that they all support the BLM movement and have drastically reduced police funding. Shouldn’t we consider that this attack may be due to the fact that there are more perpetrators on the streets? Shouldn’t we be more opposed to cuts in police funding, and more likely to call for tougher punishments for criminal behavior? In the first three months of this year, for example, police arrested 45.2% more murderers compared to the same period in 2020 and 91.5% more compared to the same period in 2019! Isn’t that alarming? How many of these are repeat offenders, I just can’t find the statistics. But it is clear that in these metropolitan areas where police funding has been reduced because of support for the BLM movement, crime has increased substantially. Of course, based on the current data, there is no denying that there is no discrimination against Asians. But it should at least be investigated to see if there is an increase in attacks on other ethnicities? It should also be published, the background of these criminals who attacked Asians. Only with this in-depth analysis can several elements of statistics be truly satisfied. But apparently, in a country that considers all math to be racist, such a requirement is also clearly politically incorrect. And in fact, Asians generally do better in math than other ethnic groups. Isn’t this denigration of math typical of discrimination against Asians?

Affirmative Action is Racism

Martin Luther King, Jr. famously said, “I have a dream that one day my four children will live in a country where people are judged not by the color of their skin but by their character. In today’s America, that statement would be politically incorrect and racist. How is it possible to judge a person by his or her character? Surely the children of a particular group of people should be of inferior character! That’s what’s in the bones of these leftist politicians in the Democratic Party today. So, it seems that the Democrats are doing everything they can to help specific groups, when in fact they have a preconceived notion that these groups are inferior and can only fit in if they are given special care. Is this not blatant racism?

With the Democratic regime in power, the future of America will be an even more racist nation. This kind of discrimination will be far more serious than street punks pushing down an old Chinese lady. This kind of discrimination will become institutionalized in the country. In fact, the widely known affirmative action bill in the United States is a racial discrimination bill. Why should college admissions, for example, cater to a specific race instead of merit-based admissions based solely on an individual’s ability and character? How many Chinese-American students have been delayed by this type of admission under the protection of affirmative action? Therefore, as Asians against racial discrimination, what we should oppose is this kind of institutional discrimination.
