Biden’s handling of the border crisis more than half of the poor ratings, most blame him rather than Trump – 55% dissatisfied with Biden’s handling of border security performance, most believe the crisis should be blamed mainly on Biden rather than Trump

Recent polls show that most Americans are dissatisfied with the Biden administration’s handling of border security; nearly half believe that the Biden administration is responsible for the current situation at the border. Sixty percent of Americans, however, affirm Biden’s administration.

According to a recent Associated Press survey study, 55% of Americans are dissatisfied with the Biden administration’s current performance in handling border security; 44% support it. However, 61 percent are positive about Biden’s overall administration.

Meanwhile, another poll released on the same day pointed out that most people believe that the current border crisis is mainly attributable to Biden, not former President Trump. According to a new poll conducted by The Hill and Hill-HarrisX, 44 percent of voters believe the Biden administration is responsible for the current immigration explosion at the border; 28 percent believe the Trump administration is to blame; 20 percent believe both parties are to blame; and 7 percent believe both parties are to blame. 7% said neither side was responsible. Biden supporter Navien Vaswani said, “I know it’s a top priority for him (Biden), so he’s appointed his vice president to deal with the situation. But then again, they still don’t know what to do, there’s no established law or framework.”

Fox News quoted sources as saying that U.S. Customs and Border Protection CBP has found more than 170,000 immigrants in March of this year, much higher than the number in the same month last year. Matthew Behrs, a Trump supporter, said, “It’s too easy to come across the border illegally into this country with drugs, people, weapons and so on. I just don’t think it’s safe for America.”

About 18,000 undocumented immigrant children are detained in the United States, according to figures released last week, and federal plans have been made to use military camps to house the children. Vaswani argued that these children are already on the U.S. side and that the U.S. should take them in out of the American spirit and the spirit of humanity. “We’ve got to take care of them. We’ve got to provide them with living conditions and make sure they live a life that is consistent with American values.” CBP also estimates that there could be 184,000 unaccompanied children, arriving at the southern border in fiscal year 2021. So far, the Biden administration has not called the surge in crossings a “border crisis.
