Trump Calls for Boycott of Big Corporate Pressure on Joe State, Republican Party Chairman Speaks Out
Beginning April 2, a boycott and counter-boycott has been underway in the United States around Georgia election reform. Following President Trump’s lead in pushing back against the baseball league, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel announced that she will no longer watch the league’s games.
On Friday, the pro-left Major League Baseball (MLB) kicked off a boycott and counter-boycott confrontation by announcing that it was pulling its All-Star Game from Joe State. For the second day in a row, Trump issued a statement condemning the radical left’s use of boycotts in recent years to exert economic pressure and achieve political goals.
On Saturday, RNC Chairman Mike Daniels also spoke out publicly in response to MLB’s decision to pull its All-Star Game from Atlanta, Jo. In a tweet, she said, “Guess what I’m doing today? Not watching baseball!!!!”
McDaniel’s stance is an echo of Trump’s call for a boycott of Major League Baseball.
McDaniel also published a tweet on Friday evening condemning Democrats for trying to destroy election reform in the Joe State.
The Republican-controlled Georgia state house passed an election reform bill a week ago that was signed into law by the governor. The bill strengthens election security, including eliminating no-excuse absentee voting and verifying voter identification. But on the day the bill was passed, Biden went on record criticizing it, and Major League Baseball was one of the first large entities to pressure Joe State financially.
Defending Election Integrity, Republican Congressman Takes Counter Action
In response to Biden’s public support for Major League Baseball’s boycott of Georgia’s new election law, several Republican members of Congress have pushed back.
Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, tweeted on Friday, asking, “Hey Joe Biden, will you boycott the Beijing Olympics because of genocide? Or do you just want to hurt the small businesses in Atlanta that are planning to (benefit from) the All-Star Game?” He stressed that Americans are tired of this “wake-up” boycott and that Major League Baseball is a disgrace.
Crenshaw’s tweet refers to the word “woke,” which originally meant to wake up after going to sleep, but has now been given a political or cultural meaning of “awakening” or “alertness. “The word has been widely used in the “Black Lives Matter” movement to express the political awareness of African-Americans over issues such as racial injustice.
Major League Baseball signs agreement with Tencent, Pompeo’s angry words and Rubio’s response
Major League Baseball (MLB) signs a new deal with Chinese Communist Party-backed company Tencent amid a boycott of Georgia’s election reform law, a move that prompted condemnation from former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and federal lawmakers.
MLB signed an agreement with Tencent, one of China’s largest technology companies, on March 31 amid a boycott of the state’s election reform law, which was criticized by U.S. lawmakers as “ignoring the Chinese Communist Party’s human rights abuses.
The new agreement authorizes Tencent to broadcast MLB games in several Asian countries until 2023. Back in 2018, MLB and Tencent reached a separate agreement granting the company the right to stream 125 games in China.
In response to MLB’s agreement with Tencent, former Secretary of State Pompeo tweeted back on April 3, “Georgia’s (election) law doesn’t meet MLB’s values, but China’s (Communist Party of China) law does?”
Florida U.S. Senator Marco Rubio tweeted on April 2 that Major League Baseball announced a partnership agreement with a company backed by the genocidal Chinese Communist Party (meaning Tencent) the same week it announced it was pulling the All-Star Game from Georgia. Rubio questioned, “Why are we still listening to these ‘awakened’ corporate hypocrites on taxes, regulations and anti-trust?”
Giving WHO report a head start, WHO advisor: overwhelming evidence that virus came from lab

In an April 4 interview with Sky News Australia, Metz said, “In my opinion, the entire joint team’s findings are implausible or invalid because they examined some hypotheses and not others, and then took the liberty of ranking the likelihood of the different hypotheses.” Metz said.
Metz added that the circumstantial evidence supporting the lab leak theory is “overwhelming” and that “Wuhan has the only Level IV virology institute in China with the largest collection (of samples) of bat coronavirus in the world.”
“I can’t say for sure that the virus originated from a lab leak, but the circumstantial evidence is overwhelming.” From the first day of the outbreak, he said, “China [the Communist Party] began a massive cover-up, including destroying samples, hiding databases and other records, and jailing journalists.”
