What’s going on? Trump Calls on Supporters to Boycott Baseball All-Star Game

MLB issued a statement on Friday, April 2, announcing that it was moving the 2021 Baseball All-Star Game out of Atlanta in opposition to a new election law introduced in Georgia. In response, former U.S. President Donald Trump issued a statement that day urging his supporters to boycott the baseball All-Star Game. Trump argued that the professional baseball league made the decision because they were afraid of accusations from the radical left, and that the new election law announced in Georgia was the right one to follow.

According to FoxNews.com, MLB released a statement on April 2 claiming that this year’s baseball All-Star Game from mid-June to early July will no longer be held in Atlanta, Georgia, as originally planned because Georgia Governor Brain Kemp signed the state’s new election law requiring that no canvassing activities be held near polling places in future elections in the state, and that absentee applications Those who apply for absentee ballots must show identification. The Pro Football League said the decisions restrict the right of Americans to run for office.

In response, Trump tweeted a “Save America” statement, saying that organizations like the MLB and many left-wing institutions and organizations should not interfere with the U.S. election, which should have required IDs long ago.

In the statement, he wrote: “Baseball is losing a lot of fans, and now they have decided not to hold the All-Star Game in Atlanta because they fear that [holding the game in Atlanta] will anger radical leftists and anger people who don’t want to be asked for voter ID in the election. And our general election desperately needs to have provisions for checking voter ID.”

In his letter, he urged his supporters to “boycott baseball games and all companies (that have issued statements opposing the new election law) that interfere with the fairness and free nature of the general election, such as Coca-Cola, Delta Air Lines, etc.!”

The National Football League (NFL) and the National Basketball Association (NAB) have all been criticized by Trump at one time or another during his tenure. The NFL was also criticized by Trump for disrespecting the American flag by allowing its athletes to kneel on one knee in protest during the playing of the national anthem before games. The National Basketball Association, for its part, was criticized by Trump for allowing several teams to cancel games in protest of police brutality during last year’s playoff season. Trump has also said that the National Basketball Association has been bought out by foreign countries because the association is more concerned with its overseas profits than supporting democratic policies.

In the 2020 election Biden claimed to have won 81 million votes and Trump 74 million, yet at midnight on Nov. 3 and early on Nov. 4, a large number of pro-Biden votes of unknown origin appeared in Democrat-controlled districts. Moreover, the voting machines in the 2020 election were fraudulent, but the court refused to act on it.
